He could potentially have a higher batting average on the DL than he did in the show. What wasted potential. Here’s hoping he can return in time to have a flash of anything before the trade deadline so we can move on from this project.

A post game celebration at the end of the game where 1) the right fielder misplayed the ball and 2) Sano himself ran the runner ahead of him off the base, causing the Tigers to make another error on the play, because they couldn"t believe themselves how stupid Sano was, and threw the ball away in amazement.

Not sure what Kiriloff's timeline is but it would be awesome if he could just step in there and take Miggy's spot. No ill will towards the big man but I bet there's not 5 people in the entire state that are bummed out by this.

Probably because he's too fat and out of shape; his knees couldn't take the strain.

If he hurt himself a week ago, why was he playing at all? Especially in a park like The Trop. We could have had a decent bat on the roster that wasn't too hurt to play.

I get trying to be there for your teammates, but if it isn't there, it isn't there.

No - he hurt himself to end that one error filled game and then never played since

He played on Saturday at 1B, went 0 for 2 with a walk before being replaced by Arraez.

He hit the ball a mile. That was never an issue for him. And I wouldn't doubt losing some weight is directly related to some "vitamins" he got from old man Tatis.

He also lost 30lbs several times when he was with the Twins, he just always put it right back on. Hitting HRs in the Mexican league is a long way from being a MLB quality hitter.

He's batting .195 in the Dominican league with almost as high of a strikeout rate as he had in the Majors.
