I think so. Morneau had a stretch of 4 years where he was MVP caliber then dealt with injuries and moved on. Hrbek was incredibly consistent for 14 years in a Twins uniform and beats Morneau in every statistical category (it's close).

I think Hrbek should have won MVP in 84' over Willie Hernandez.

Hrbek also has two rings.

Of course he doesn’t deserve to be on the list. He looked for any excuse to take a day off and let’s face it - if he didn’t play the majority of his career on that cement infield at the dome he isn’t even a .300 hitter. Those 18 hoppers do not get through. Besides, did even play half his games at C? I doubt it.

He's also a 5-time Silver Slugger with 3 Gold gloves, 3 batting titles, and a 6x All-Star

He has no chance he’s viewed nationally as a lazy player who took every opportunity to sit out games. Tony Oliva was twice the player Joe was and look how long it took him to get him in. And he was respected and well liked by everybody - Joe isn’t.

Plus everyone knows he juiced the year he was set to be a FA. You don’t average 8 HR every other year of your career then hit nearly 30. Lol
