THT will be fine. he's a young man on a 2 year $2.4M contract. hands here - who made $2.4M the last two years? hands? anyone?j2j wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:32 amI think this is an important take.Oriole81 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:19 amOne thing I do worry about here is whether or not the NBA stars that are "leading" this actually do speak for the majority of players, because the key point left out is that no other teams did "vote" for that. There's 30 teams in the league that all matter equally, and 28 teams made a statement to not do something...that should be the headline.
I respect Lebron for trying here and for his actions on a multitude of previous issues, but he's going to be a billionaire eventually with all the stuff he is involved in outside of basketball. He can afford to take time off, and he can afford to take next year off as well if the owners want to lockout.
Most players need to work though, and can't afford to take time off, and their voice counts just the same even though nobody is putting a microphone in their face.
I hope the player's union is properly doing their job here and not just being a puppet for the stars.
It says a lot when LeBron and company playing for the likely two top title contenders want to end the season. Giving up a great chance at a Championship. Thats tough to do.
But what about Talen Horton-Tucker, a minimum salary rookie who might be working the loading docks without basketball? Or guys like him?

i'd love to hear what doncic was saying. something to the effect "who are you, marcus? your nba career is a piece of dirt on my shoe. you got that, marcus?".UnFadeable21 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:19 pm

I liked his response after the last game when the reporter asked him if he thought the step was intentional.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 7:10 pmi'd love to hear what doncic was saying. something to the effect "who are you, marcus? your nba career is a piece of dirt on my shoe. you got that, marcus?".UnFadeable21 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:19 pm

“I don’t want to believe it was intentional. What do you think?”. The reporter’s all “*sigh* Uhh...”, all the while Luka’s just smirking and nodding like: “Exactly.”

Lol, i’m combining it with the ankle stomp from the last game and his apology that he’s never played dirty in his 10 year career.

They should pull an OJ Mayo with Marcus Morris and just boot him out the league for a couple years. Absolutely disgraceful display.

He could be doing this for Chicago after Thibs traded him for Jimmy Butler.

THIBBS only picked Dunn because he knew or thought Chicago had a hard on for Dunn. It was part of his master plan to get Butler. It worked to perfection. Such a wonderful plan and forward thinking leadership.

I like Giannis but I like a lot of Miami guys too. Bam rules. They have been a scrappy competitive team for a lot of years. Spolestra is great. Tough series

This picture of Jamal Murray also reminds me of a really mad troll. Like a bridge troll or the toy trolls.

Not a big CP3 fan, but even less of a fan of Houston. Also always enjoy watching players who got ditched by former teams extract some revenge.
