July 1st will be the official start with rules in place, but will do the lottery at least by this weekend and can start after draft order is in place.

Glad you were able to get a 20th. I thought about dropping my name in as I love doing drafts in general, but I'm just not as up to speed on the current NBA and didn't want to drag you guys down.

I'm definitely game for doing another all time NBA draft down the line though if that ever gets going.

Same. Again, I hate the 2K sim. I think it sucks. I would much rather vote which team I like better in a tournament. The team with more votes moves on until just 1 team is left. We spend so much time drafting and building the teams but we can't vote between two teams until we narrow it down to one and crown them the champion. Come on. We totally could.

4 groups with the leading vote getter from each group moving on to make the final 4?

Although we tried that a few years and got little progress. Also needing to wait til next spring to see who progressed/regressed. Which rookie popped and such.

We did elimination voting to head to head matchups.

Really was able to breakdown the ins and outs. But again we probably had 5 years of no crown.

It's totally fine to wait to vote. Then you can track your team throughout the season which can make you feel like a genius or a dumbass. The issue we run into is people lose interest in their rosters by spring. Maybe move the vote up a month or two early? Spring would be ideal, but we would need some assurance that people are going to show up to vote.

2k sim during the next years playoffs would be my choice. Like a month before this draft would be ideal. I don't have the video game, but could someone that does do a sim on last years rosters now after everything has been adjusted to actual performance on this season?
