Them or the Pistons?
The old timers I’m sure have others, but I’ve only been alive since the late 80’s.
Since then it’s been Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Heat and Spurs in my lifetime until the Warriors started up. Then you have the Mavs, Cavs and Pistons sprinkled in.

I dont think so. Raptors have been one of the top teams in the East for a long time. They then added a top 3 player in Kawhi, and just losing Derozan for him...who, is very good, but not near the level Kawhi is.
I think the 2011 Mavericks have them beat for unlikely champs. Taking down Wade/Bosh/Lebron, with Dirk, and a bunch of over the hill vets.

I also would put the Bad Boy era Pistons in that kind of category.
Solid team but filled with a bunch of thugs.

Kind of. Isiah an all timer, Dumars was great, Vinny the microwave, etc.ChrisPaulGeorgeHill wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 5:24 pmI also would put the Bad Boy era Pistons in that kind of category.

Look at the depth of that team:
Isiah
Dumars
Laimbeer
Dantley
Aguirre
Rodman
Johnson
Mahorn
Salley
That's 9 deep.
