Watching Rondo right now, and thinking of where he's been, at age 33, how he might have a few more years of ring chasing.

1x champ
4x all star
1x all NBA
4x all defense

I think if he rattled off a few championships with that Celtics team, he was in. Don't think he's done nearly enough since then...but still a remarkable career.

I agree, though he'll be on the ballot.

I think he was once on track, but now with the end of the dynasty, he needs something big to change. I would say if he sticks with GSW, and they somehow pull out another championship with him as one of the core players, he's right on the bubble. GSW could theoretically do it too...Get Klay and Curry back next year, move DLO for depth or another stud, and they are playoff bound again.

I just think that Manu had more impact and was better player. Most unselfish player of all time as well as being the best 6th man ever.
I don't think either of us are necessarily right or wrong, but heres my case for Parker over Manu,...

Tony...6x all star vs 2 for Manu
4x all NBA vs 2
Finals MVP vs 6th man of the year
Ahhh, I forgot he had a Finals MVP. Then yes I think he should get in. Don't think either of them are first ballot though.
I think both are locks.

If there is an “or not”, then no.

Michael Cooper up this year.

5x champ
8x all defense
1x DPOY

I'd kind of compare him to the guard version of Rodman, but his accolades aren't quite on par with Rodman, nor did he have any individual stat he was elite at, like Rodman was with rebounds.

I say no to Cooper, but with how long he's been eligible, he might eventually get the votes.
