Lol. It is an awful trade.
Ya, I'm passing on that. I wouldn't even trade Andrew straight up for Conley.
Okay this is as preposterous as it gets.

We can get better back.

If Conley was the other side of 30, no doubt. I'm not giving up a young player who actually doesn't complain about playing here up for a 32 year old.

Maybe it was mlhouse who said it earlier but you people do realize that most players don't want to come to Minnesota, right?

I'm sure a 32 year old Conley would be THRILLED to get traded here /s

Who cares how he feels? He is old, always hurt and highly paid to boot. This is not a guarded secret and it affects his trade value and is a factor in why he is still in Memphis...they have been trying to trade him after all.

I mean with the contract situation, i can understand dumping Andrews money but if we are talking no money.

24 year old Andrew > 32 year old Conley.

Andrew for Hayward I would do but Boston won't.

he had one of his best seasons because in the majority of the other ones he was regularly getting carried out on a stretcher.

I'm no fan but Lonzo Ball has some value. Many teams are trying to "Pry" him away from LA. One source said "People don't understand how good this kid is"

People can rip him here but he has more value than anyone not named Kat on the Wolves.

The Wiggins and #10 for Beal conversations are hilarious in here.

Lakers are supposedly looking into him and one NBA GM said fair value would be #4, Kuzma and Ingram.

The Wolves don't nhave the assets to land anyone.

You get an all star PG to pair with Towns, Wigs, and Cov. We would be top 4 in the west
Once Memphis drafts Ja Morant, they should be looking to unload Conleys big contract.
Maybe Teague straight up for Conley is possible. Teague has a smaller contract and only has one year left.
But Im sure a couple of other teams will be interested in Conley.

They will be higher than taking a horrible contract like Wiggins. They are not trading him for Teague and #11 either imo.

I wouldn't give up #11 for him anyway.

I don't agree. He's a very good player who can still give you some year's. He could be good in Boston after Kyrie bails. He could fit on the Lakers as a piece etc..

If the Wolves had Butler right now, I would do that trade in a heartbeat. This team is too far away to make a move like this on a 32 year old player.

This takes the Wolves from a non playoff tean next year to possibly a #8 seed. It wouldn't make sense.

2012 offseason video. My favorite part is the JJ Moxie part where it flashes to a clip of Jordan.

I’m on board for trading Saric.

Ideally for a 1st if we can get it.

Saric isn’t a good enough shooter nor rebounder to play next to Towns for the next few years.

And we won’t mention Saric’s defense.

45/38 isn't a good enough shooter?

I dunno, I think some people have way to high of expectations on what a starting 5 should look like. PF that can shoot like that, rebound and pass on what I suspect would be a reasonable deal seems like a good thing for this team. He's slow but has some smarts on defense.

Until we have better, he's plenty good.

I did some light digging and I can't find one minute of Teague/Wiggins/Covington/Saric/Towns playing together.

Most minutes played together:
.A. Wiggins, .D. Saric, .T. Jones, .K. Towns, .J. Okogie

Best offensive lineup:
.J. Teague, .A. Wiggins, .D. Saric, .K. Towns, .J. Okogie

Worst defensive lineup:
.J. Bayless, .T. Gibson, .A. Wiggins, .K. Towns, .J. Okogie

Best net ratings:
.T. Gibson, .R. Covington, .A. Wiggins, .T. Jones, .K. Towns
.J. Teague, .T. Gibson, .A. Wiggins, .K. Towns, .J. Okogie

So little time played together for most of those they mean nothing basically but thought I'd look anyway.
