I mean... fuck it.

He’s not doing anybody any good.

Especially himself.
Yikes do we have an intervention chat Thrill is in need of some therapy.

Btw I had COVID in November missed 18 days and it royally sucked. I got it from my anti masker co-worker who goes out etc he of course got it mild was only sick 4 days while I the careful one spent 8 days in bed battling up to 103 fever with migraines everyday. My brother got it as well but super mild lost taste for a few days no fever. It hits everyone differently... hell some people have had hole in their lungs from it.
Jesus, dude. Glad you pulled through. Shit is no joke.
Like that, y'all, pop some more shit.

i'm assuming that KAT has COVID and is still recovering.

what i'm more concerned about is this: KAT finally getting back on the court and then DLo suddenly needs to sit for 7 games because of "lingering quad contusionosity". for a couple of best buds who just couldn't WAIT to play pro ball together, they sure don't seem to be in any hurry. one dark theory, of course, is that as long as they don't play together - they are able to delay judgement about the viability and wisdom of that pairing. it's going to get a lot harder to hide the flaws once they play together for a half season and we still only win 28% of our games.

Talk shit about this guy’s basketball game all you want (better be only about D, actually), but he deserves some empathy for everything he’s gone through off the court.

This is the correct take.

I really don't understand why people would question the time he was taking to get back to the court considering the hell he's been through.

people have had wildly diverse reactions to this illness. if some froobs don't get that, then they absolutely need to inform themselves more seriously about Covid. so, yeah, i have no idea what has gone on with KAT in his particular case - but what has gone on with other nba players doesn't have ANY bearing on what might be going on with him. from a personal standpoint, he's been thru hell - and i sincerely hope he recovers with no lasting effects. from a purely bb/twolves standpoint, we should also sincerely hope that he gets thru this intact - or our primary player/primary asset could come out of this severely compromised physically - and not nearly the player he was before Covid.

He looked slow and tired last night. Almost like he needed a training camp. He's gonna need a few weeks to get back into it. Hope COVID didn't take any of his mojo. His D was bad, when you're not great to start with that's pretty bad.

I don't want to get into a political fight about vaccines in basketball chat, so I'll just say I'm surprised by this; especially given what his former teammate Towns has been through.
