Man I wanted Rozier here so bad but we didn't have anything to give up. Can you imagine if we got him instead of Dlo/Rubio?

and the other thing about terry - forget about the plus 30 games - he's a much better defender than either rubio or Dlo too.

Kevin Porter Jr. is crushing the G-League right now.

He would’ve been an intriguing buy low candidate. The talent is there.

so the wolves are now 7-23 and hold the worst winning percentage of any team in the league.

richard pitino's gophers are in mid swan dive of a free fall face plant.

just saw that fred hoiberg's college team is 1-11 in the Big Ten.

and our iowa wolves have yet to win a game and sit at the very bottom of gleague standings.

i'd say that nearly everything associated with minnesota and basketball is cursed - except for the glut of nationally ranked players coming out of our high school programs - and HEY let's raise a glass to tom thibodeau and his overachieving 14-16 knicks!!

Yeah they seem to be settling into appropriate roles. They are going to win it all fairly easily IMO.
Which finals would you prefer?

Lakers/Nets - which would be the 4th finals of Lebron and Durant...plus Kyrie vs Lebron. AD vs a shitbag Nets front court too.

Clippers/Nets - Kawhi vs Durant in the finals again

Philly looks pretty good right now too. The Eastern playoffs are going to be fun.
I’d prefer to watch Lebron in the Finals over Kawhi.

I think the LA/LA series will be a blood bath. I think the Clips would have a better shot vs the Nets.
Hey we got Clips Nets tonight! I hope everyone is playing.

There’s still hope. Not even half way through, we’re still only 8 losses back from the 8 seed.

Ah. Shit.

ah shit is right. i just noticed that one of the two things i pointed to as a positive is a sub .500 team led by a former coach.

He's fun to watch. Didn't realize he was top ten in the NBA in both three point percentage and three pointers made.

pretty rockin comeback for the pels today. observations:

is stevens on the hot seat?

time lord is getting it together - 21 mins, 8 pts, 13 boards, 3 assists, 4 blocks (5 really, but they called a great one on zion goaltending - it wasn't) and a lob dunk that would be THE dunk of the week if it weren't for the absurd thing AE threw down the other night. nuts elevation and reach.

ingram is the real deal.

josh fucking hart. it's like if you took the energy of josh okogie, but put it into a really smart and skilled player.

zion - horrible in the first, great in the second. still say he walks like an old man with rocks in his shoes and i predict new hips for the guy before he turns 34.

kemba kemba kemba. 1 of 12 from three. this guy's stock is falling thru the basement. and he smiles all the time. thru everything. i think he wants to be zeke, but he's not even close.

Voot! voot! voot! voot! justin patton sighting! good old houston. lose christian wood to an injury and then chuck DMC this week - leaving them with PJ tucker at the center spot tonight in a loss to chicago. that seems a bit of a bone bruiser - pj a thick 6-5 245, but having to guard 6-10 270 wendell carter for the better part of the game? get out the ibuprofen, PJ. anyway, houston with the sudden dearth of bigs, signed justin patton a few days back - and he actually played 21 mins tonight. is that the most he's ever played maybe? acquitted himself in pretty good fashion too - 4 pts, 6 rebs and 3 blks. go big young fella! resuscitate that career of yours!

doubling down on my opinion that people are sleeping on utah just because they don't have the star power of the other top teams. but 28 made threes last night in a win - from a top 3 defensive team with a regular season win percentage of .806? that sounds like a playoff monster to me.

I hadn't looked up on him at all this season, but saw his name on a list of all time players with a 25+pt,5+reb, 5+assists thing that was linked with Lebron. Lavines stats are huge this year with super high shooting %. Maarkonen also pushing towards 20ppg.
wonder if a wolves trade will ever work in our favor

the other thing about lavine (and one that has really helped his game) is how he has successfully transformed his skinny ass body into that of a real athletic beast. have to give a young man a LOT of credit for obviously putting in a ton of work. impressive because it's certainly not a given.

We traded a gym rat and probably the most likeable T-Wolves player since name one, for a lazy piece of shit that has a 10 PER playing next to Steph Curry.

With our luck, I'm going to say it comes out that Finch is a white supremacist or kicked a puppy or something.

Cousins is a free agent. He would be a great get for the Wolves. Queue up everyone complaining how he doesn't fit the worst team, literally, in the league.
