i really hope this kid puts it together. have had him on my froobdraft team two years running now. up and down with his performance, but a crazy athlete and a decent guy.

man, nerlens noel doing some WORK last night in a big knicks win over the lakers. andre drummond played 25 mins but only had 3 points on 3 shots. noel finished with 9 points - but more importantly, 4 steals and 2 blocks. not sure how that all worked out because drummond is a massive presence underneath and last i looked nerlens looks like he could seriously increase his milkshake intake.

I've always liked that guy. Limited offensively, but dude can play D. It'll be interesting to see if NY keeps him around after the season.

we should come up with a Most Unlikeable nba roster. grayson allen would be a charter member. what a total dink.

Round out the starting five with Schroder, Dudley, Draymond and Cousins.

dray's gotta be on it. i might go with kyrie over schroder though - as interconnected as they've become lately. don't know much about dudley's antics.

The COVID effect on TNT broadcasts....broadcasters are broadcasting off site, so they are experiencing delays in the feed, just like people watching at home are. LAL and Boston tonight, timeouts getting called and broadcasters confused on why whistles are blown until a few seconds later. Half court shot at the end of quarters clank off the backboard as Harlan says a second later "good if it goes!"

god, that celts/dubs shootout. curry is simply a marvel - tatum awesome also. one of the commentators had the opinion that no other player in the past few decades has changed bb more than curry - and i'd have to agree. to be lebron, you'd have to be an absolute freak of nature physical specimen who is ridiculously athletic and skilled at 6-9 255. plus a leader and totally driven. he's a rarity and a marvel - once in a lifetime player.

but curry? 6-3 185 plus coming into the league with an injury history? and then he does what he's done? lots and lots of guys out there with that same physical profile who are able - if they want it - to follow his training regimen, put in the crazy hours required and become reasonable facsimiles of one degree or another. not saying there are many stephs out there. but the possibilities are much higher that we will see many more future stephs than lebrons. it's attainable with putting in the work. lebron simply isn't attainable for 99% of up and coming athletes. when lebron leaves the game, he'll be gone. when steph leaves the league, there'll be a swarm of clones left behind.

Tom Thibodeau was a really good defensive coach with the Bulls.
His defense sucked with the Wolves and now has a really good defensive team with the Knicks. So, is Thibodeau a really good defensive coach or does he have really good defensive players?

He’s good but Kat and Wiggins have no desire to even attempt to play good D. You can’t make caviar out of chicken shit.

He was the Defensive coach back in Boston when they won the title under Doc Rivers. he’s an extremely talented defensive mind.

No

Just guys with a heart willing to give effort

New York was a terrible defensive team last year

To suggest Tom Thibodeau is not a good defensive coach is idiotic

Well it must’ve been Bill Russell and Dennis Rodman like because last year they were 23rd , this year they were 3rd. ;)

I don’t think they were that good, but I watched the Knicks today and Rose and Noel looked pretty good.

Thibs had YOUNG players here ...and Butler. He had no chance to do what he's doing team wise in NY.
