Watched a few Gonzaga games and Suggs does look like a potential star. One thing he doesn't currently do is shoot the 3 ball well. Can a team succeed with a Suggs and Edwards starting back court if neither improves their 3 point shooting?

I’ll openly admit to a very small sample size, and that I’m considering our pick long gone, which leads me to looking more for guys like Reid or Nowell. I’m finding myself drawn to Drew Timme.

Max Suggs now.

Edit: assuming we get #1. That kid shouldn’t be going any lower.

the block at the rim. followed immediately by the full court bounce pass for the flush. and the half court shot at the end to win it. this kid has the fucking IT factor that we are lacking.

if we can draft him, what team will give us a decent starting PF for Dlo?

Probably forgetting someone obvious, but who was the last consensus top, or near top, pick who came up big in the Final Four? Okafor?

Same, but I figured there had to have been someone since then, right?

The block is great. Great block. That fucking pass is ridiculous. Sprint dribble up the floor, zero hesitation threads the needle between 3 defenders with a long distance bounce pass that is right on target. Skills.

I was going to say Davis, but I’d completely forgotten about Okafor.

That was a young Ricky Rubio pass.

Suggs being a QB has shown all year long he can make that football throw on the basketball court

That’s a pass that from the camera angle we have, you can see it. But for a guy to see that on the floor is special.

Remember he started the season off with a ridiculous transition bounce pass, but the layup was missed.

Dude is going to be like Chauncey Billups, but right out the gate. A total gamer who flat out wins.

When the NBA made sure Cleveland had the first pick to draft their hometown boy LeBron, they need to do the same for the Wolves. Give us the number 1 so we can draft our hometown boy.

Lot of the basketball media mouthpieces are coming out with that take today. They have zero ability to just enjoy the game because they're so busy hating on it.

David Thorpe came off like a clown too.

Really like the Chauncey Billups comparison. Best one I've seen thus far.

Last years draft it sounded like we passed on Ball because of Russel, will we cater to Town's buddy again this draft? I still think we take Cade if end up drafting first, but can the Wolves really pass on the hometown guy?

my guess is that A) rosas is hoping we keep the pick - B) hoping we land at 3 - C) cunningham and suggs go 1 and 2 - so that D) he has no other choice but to select mobley. it's cleaner all the way around for rosas. if he has the choice of cunningham and/or suggs, and selects either of them, then he has to prybar Dlo off the team in some sort of trade (PF?) that we'd probably have to eat something yucky on. this will require a lot of work, luck and the massaging of KAT's hurt feelings. if, on the other hand, mobley is left as his only option - he takes him as the big we need next to karl and also doesn't have to work the phones trying not to lose his pants and undies in a Dlo trade dump.
