Going with the homerish 40 wins. Teams arenas are probably not going to be a factor. Travel ironically should be a lot less given the way the schedule is working out and we will have better shooting at most positions. When we had a full roster last year we were competitive but injuries severely hurt us. We got rid of a lot of guys who frankly pretty ass and brought in players who actually can either shoot decently or fill the role. I think the 8 seed is within reach and maybe better setting us up to be able to go after other teams players through trades next year because of the way we have structured our contracts. It's pretty safe to conclude Rosas is not going to go after free agents except for some filler spots but instead going to trade and move assets around to fill the roster by using tradeable salary dumps coupled with draft picks or using our own players to pick up assets through trades using our contracts.

You also don’t bet on them winning two #1 picks in 5 years.
Was it considered a move up if the worst teams all had equal odds of getting number 1?

The question is whether or not they beat the odds two times to win #1 and they did.

This proves that strange (and good, and recent) things happen, even to our Wolfies.

at the moment West is still pretty strong. I'm optimistic for 35 wins but don't think we can pull it off however I'd do over 27.5 IF we are healthy.

I say under as well.

No defense. No real options at the 4. Just a cluster fuck of 2's and 3's on this roster. Most of whom can't hit a 3 to save their lives. Gonna be another long year unfortunately.

Chemistry wise, this roster is about as ill fitting as it gets. 12 role players around 2 semi-stars who just go and get theirs....don't make anyone else around them better and don't play defense.

Snooping around, I have seen some sites have the Timberwolves as high as 30.5.
