7 million a season?

I hope he has put on some good weight in the off-season and I hope there's a team option on his contract in year 3.

RT @DaneMooreNBA: The Timberwolves are now somewhere between $3.5M and $4.5M below the luxury tax line, depending on whether the number is flat or ascending.

I was really hoping the thread title meant that we signed Shaq, or Ray Allen.

I want to see if it's end loaded like Beasleys... Might end up being two year $12-$13 million.

Wolves have 4 million left to spend before the tax but are at 15 roster spots.

Jmac is still RFA. Nowell contract is non guaranteed. No one wants to take Evans or Spellman.

I am also wondering if Vanderbilt is ready to play too atm.

I think it's time to start a pure PF thread.

Ricky and Juancho have some pretty good chemistry from playing on the Spanish National team. Any chance Juancho comes off the bench with Ricky? We are going to badly need someone off the bench who can stretch the floor. Ricky and Juancho could be a nice bench duo.

We could have Rubio, Beasley and juancho off the bench. Better than we have had in a while, but at starter pay as well

I assume with no summer league and a short camp that Edwards comes off the bench.i hope not but sort of expect it.

We probably paid Beasley and Launcho a tad more than they're worth, but it's made worth it by the last year being a team option. Gives us freedom and them extra value for us, or potentially in a trade down the road later if needed.

2nd guy they've paid a big contract to for their short time with the Wolves. Beasley got paid fat for 14 games with the Wolves. Juancho also just with 14 games. If both players play like they did in those 14 games, great, no issue with the contract. I just feel they signed them at their maximum value, and doesn't seem like they used their past performances (or lack thereof) in negotiations.
