He might be really good in 3-4 years. If he can add a really good pull up 3. Maybe some post game. But he better add something because decent size and tries means nothing when you are a slow footed driver in the NBA. Decent size and tries can mean something on D so there's that. Let's hope for a few years of solid development and then a team with a need to trade for him. If he is still property of the Wolves and we do not keep our pick due to this lame offseason, he will be brought over as the idiot's means of covering his ass for the no pick. Anyone dispute that?

Tons of much better options, obviously bigs. But he is 100% The idiots butt cover move about the pick next year. Even next year we have no need for a player like him. He is draft and stash to trade to make p for the pick lost with Wigs. Hopefully he's improved enough to trade, or play, and the idiot is not the one making that call.

Re: Welcome Bolmaro to the Minnesota Timberwolves
I’m with many on this thread already. Looking at everything there is about the kid online, he looks like trash for the NBA. I don’t see his dribbling being effective in the NBA. He can’t shoot. All his defensive “highlights” look like regular half court defense, and he doesn’t actually stop anyone. There were so many players available that could have fit the Wolves needs of shooting or defense, but they go with the cheap option who won’t make a positive impact for the team. Fucking joke.

I'm going to trust the guys who fly over seas to watch him in person, and have watched every bit of film on him since grade school.
They may be wrong, but they are certainly more qualified than I am to make the judgment on him as a possible NBA player. I'll wait until I see him bounce a Spalding off an NBA court to give my opinion.

If you don't feel more qualified than the idiot I feel for you. You underestimate your crazy ability to overestimate the moron.sh1mmyya wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 1:49 pm I'm going to trust the guys who fly over seas to watch him in person, and have watched every bit of film on him since grade school.

Curious how many times the Wolves saw him in person...I'm guessing somewhere less than once.

I am guessing that the Wolves have Euro Scouts that have seen him play on several occassions.

It's pretty pathetic that a highlight of a Wolves prospect is just a simple made 3 point shot from the wing.....

I don't get the pick. Is he hyped for how good he's supposed to get? Haven't seen anything wow from the guy that we couldn't have gotten right away a different pick.

I think he is hyped for his upside as a big PG. Typical type of player that the Wolves management falls hard for. Who knows, maybe they are right, but then when have they ever.kilkenny wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 3:55 pmI don't get the pick. Is he hyped for how good he's supposed to get? He looks like 2 inches taller Rubio.
How’s Rubio working out for us?

This is the worst move of Rosas’ tenure.

once again, thinking too hard trying to be the smartest guy in the room. there are so many no brainer moves he could have made that would have been better than what he concocted.

Yup. I liked his start with trading 11/Saric for 6, but it’s been pretty bad overall since that move.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 8:43 amonce again, thinking too hard trying to be the smartest guy in the room. there are so many no brainer moves he could have made that would have been better than what he concocted.

Re: Welcome Bolmaro to the Minnesota Timberwolves
but if you look at that initial move - if he'd just stayed at 11 and taken clarke (like a lot of the pundits were predicting because of our need for PF help), all the subsequent chips could have fallen in entirely different ways.Style wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:30 amYup. Did ya? Did ya like that move? Where he threw an asset in the trash so he could move up and take a player who didn't fit and he didn't even want?Style wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:30 amYup. Yup. The actual selection is a separate move from the trade itself.mlhouse wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 12:18 amReally? Do you disagree with his point?Style wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 8:28 pmSeek help.Thrillkill wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 6:55 pm

hey. cut him some slack. he's been basking in the glory of obi toppin's storming of the league - 4 ppg 2 rpg 21% shooting percentage.YBBR wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:21 pmThrillkill sucks. Dude is the worst.Style wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 8:28 pmSeek help.Thrillkill wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 6:55 pm
