Re: Malik Beasley arrested
i will say that the reason why they had to go in the house seems dubious. wasn't all the action taking place outside? they smell pot so they get a warrant?
that said-what is this guy doing? birds of a feather-involved in a drugs and guns culture. and the main reason why those cops wanted to get in that house was the previous trouble they had at the house.

He’ll be fine.
Needs to get a better weed hookup.
Maybe I should give him my hookup’s digits.
She comes over with a huge jar with 15 different kinds.
You can customize the exact buzz you want.
Come on, Malik.
Up your game.

Get rid of him.
He was a risk contract anyway. He's 50/50 to be worth what they will pay him or be a bust.
Not going ahead on him now.

it would be interesting to learn if there was any of this going on in denver - and that's one of the reasons why he fell out of favor, out of the rotation and then moved.

We can match any offer to him right?
..what team is going to break the bank for him now? I think we just got a guy for cheap..
What kind of discount is or could be expected?

Quick Google search shows Him fighting an NFL player in an apartment lobby .looks like a girl involved but it didn't say much.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 5:49 pm it would be interesting to learn if there was any of this going on in denver - and that's one of the reasons why he fell out of favor, out of the rotation and then moved.
We just didn't need any drama .
It could blow over but just say he's out, who is more likely now? Edwards or ball and have Russell play off the ball more ?

Anyway remember the Wolves getting Webster from Portland I believe, Portland hid the guys back problems. I don’t remember if anything ever came of that for the Wolves.

After digesting it a little bit, I started to think about how it may mean a discount! Funny that you guys also had the same thoughts.

Might be closer to 4 years 25 million.UnFadeable21 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:50 am I would still re-sign him. 4 years 50 million, he would be ideal 6th man in the Eric Gordon, Terrance Ross role for the Wolves.

He owns the house? He must’ve been pretty confident he was staying in Minny.

Even though it was relatively little, Rosas is invested in Beasley and he is exactly the type of player he wants. I'm sure there have been many "behind the scenes" conversations with Beasley and that Beasley is reasonably confident he will be a Wolf long term. Beasley is also young. Rosas will not part with an asset that fits so perfectly with us easily.

Unless he goes to prison on some sort of charge.flexbuffchest wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 9:07 pmEven though it was relatively little, Rosas is invested in Beasley and he is exactly the type of player he wants. Otherwise it really could end up as a cheap contract for us. Maybe Rosas planted the gun, knowing this would go down!

Was Rosas in the car that rolled up? Maybe he's the dealer?

I'm no legal expert, but how does one get arrested, do a day or so in jail, and not get charged with anything?

The officers could've had probable cause to arrest him, but they can only hold you for...48 hrs, I think...before they either have to charge you or release you. That doesn't mean you won't get charged at all though.

Well odds are it probably wasn't him who was pointing guns at people. That's just mathematics.

In Australia, if it relates to a terrorism charge, I think they can hold you for a week like this.SHAFA wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 11:24 amThe officers could've had probable cause to arrest him, but they can only hold you for...48 hrs, I think...before they either have to charge you or release you. But yes, people can be held whilst police decide whether to charge a person. officially. It does not mean he has gotten away without being charged mind you. The police can still charge him at a later date.
