The real bummer part is that assuming next season starts on schedule, he's going to miss a chunk of 21-22 season, as well. So he's going to be gone a John Wall length of time, or longer, by the time he gets back. Odds of him getting back to form are extremely slim. GS now has 2 dead max contracts, essentially. Ouch.

Jauncho, a low tier free agent, Layman, Vanderbilt...it’s not going to be a high priced guy. With Johnson trade chip gone you are going to have to send out multiple youngish guys to get Gordon.

They are using the Iggy trade exception to absorb the salary and I’m sure a first rd pick of some sort, think they’d be more likely to trade their own pick next year and keep ours if that’s part of the compensation
