Yeah, he's a better fit between those two than Tobias would be.

Yeah think so. Tobias doesn't get the love he should. He played great with Kawhi and Brightside now has both. A better PF vs SF.
We all know RoCo value. Glue guy. D&3. Heady effort guy. Would never lead a team to a ring, but a perfect compliment to others who would.

12 hours to figure out you're on the clock. From last selection. Pardon a little overnight stuff, hence 8am-10pm window.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 1:34 pm yes, actually - help me understand the clock. what's the differentiation or meaning of the 12 hours vs. 2 hours stuff?
2 hours since logged on if on the clock. We assume if logged on, you would check here and see you're otc. Finish trades make decision. Finishing running errands, work or whatever.
Not 14 hours total. But not a jerk either.

Well that blows. I have two back to back if someone is looking to move up. Otherwise I'll make my picks once I get home by 5pm.

Screw it, I'm a little cranky I didn't move up when I could have, so I'm going to swing for the fences.
All reports say he's 110% healthy, and could play in the restart if they felt it was worth it. So let's go!

i thought wall was going a lot later - but IMO he's still a steal because as you said, looks like he's tanned, rested and ready.

He's not a good defender(though he does pick up steals), doesn't space the floor, and is a high usage guy, but we'll run 4-Out DDM so he can just attack gaps and dish to Jonas.

and the sweet thing about this draft is that contracts are immaterial. it's kind of been the curse on wall - but applies here zero percent.

Exactly. I'd have 0 interest in him on the Wolves due to his contract. But when contracts don't matter, as the 3rd best guy on my team... Not bad.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 3:19 pm and the sweet thing about this draft is that contracts are immaterial. it's kind of been the curse on wall - but applies here zero percent.

Maybe we should list their contracts and do one of these drafts with the salary cap.

I honestly think we should have done this later in the year, after the draft at least. Probably should have done an all-time froob draft first.
Handful of guys who are currently hurt, or at least sitting out the restart, plus since the draft hasn't happened yet, we have no idea where some of those guys are going to play, and that matters.

There were 2 other PGs I consider there as well, but ultimately passed. Either might have been a better fit, I don't really know, but neither have Wall's star potential.Hoop Dreams wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 3:39 pmThere's one left that I love. I wonder if we're thinking of the same guy?

Great pick. I almost took him over Ayton last round. He's going to get paid in the off-season.Sid Hartman wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 3:41 pmSid adds an athletic big to do the dirty work...Montrez HarrellSid Hartman wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 2:47 pm Sid gets a shooter to pair with LeBron and his lightning quick PG: Buddy Hield

Weren't we going to modify something in the all-time draft this year?
