With the 50th pick of the Froob draft the Miami Heat selects Draymond Green! Need a vet defensive minded prescence and another option to handle the rock and be a secondary playmaker. This guy is as versatile as any!
Zion Williamson
Donovan Mitchell
Draymond Green

Adams should have been banned from the league for trying to put Draymond's foot in a leg scissors.

i'm not a big dray fan, but i can certainly see his value to a team. actually thought he was the guy that dome was going to pair with KAT and Jrue earlier.

I considered him, but his decline the past couple of years made me a bit uncomfortable with it. I could see him bouncing back this season, though.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 8:27 pm i'm not a big dray fan, but i can certainly see his value to a team. actually thought he was the guy that dome was going to pair with KAT and Jrue earlier.

Bulls select Tobias Harris
Just too good to pass up. Solid 2 way stud.
Led league in minutes. (Workhorse)
Better defensive war than Jimmy buckets
3 superstar max guys
C
PF Kristaps Porzingas
SF Tobias Harris
SG
PG Steph Curry
Loved my other option.

the great D remains to be seen. this year, yes - but i wouldn't put him in butler's category. but prior to this season, for the past six years - ESPN's defensive rpm ranking has him averaged out at 27th among SFs. nearly last among nba starters at that position - that's certainly not great. let's see if he can keep the momentum going from this past season.

With the 54th pick, the Orlando Magic select...
DeAndre Ayton
Ayton was too good to pass on 54 picks in. He's the 4th fastest in NBA history to 1,000 rebounds and only one of two players in NBA history to average 19 ppg, 12 rpg, and 1.5 bpg under 22 years old. Shaq was the other.
Ayton has made huge strides defensively this year...

He's turning into a legit 2-way player and I think year three could be a breakout season for him.- 2nd only to Rudy Gobert in opponent shots defended per game as the primary defender (20 shots defended per game, vs. Gobert 20.4)
- 7th in the whole NBA in field goal percentage allowed as the primary defender (40.5%)
- 6th in the whole NBA in difference from their usual FG% (-6.6%)

Wolves should have traded Towns for the rights to Ayton and more from Phoenix. Said it before the draft.
