It's going to be another "Lockout" sort of situation. Can we get to page 116?

Wash our hands and share your fuvkin toilet paper damnit. I had a cold during the rush down to my last roll. Next week should be interesting. The last time this happened in the 70's we had telephone books to cheat with. Now we don't even have real books to cheat with.

God bless the XFL

https://xflboard.com/news/2020/03/12/xf ... 20-season/

Statement issued by XFL on 12 March 2020:

Currently, the XFL will not be playing its regular-season games. However, all players will be paid their base pay and benefits for the 2020 regular season. All XFL ticket holders will be issued refunds or credit toward future games. The XFL is committed to playing a full season in 2021 and future years.
He already said the league is fully funded for two years so this is great. So instead of being greedy with the money he's putting he's going to continue to fund everything!

Draft an all-time corona virus team. Least susceptible players, guys that would recover quickly etc...

It's probably going to be a really crappy brand of basketball, but at least it would be a live sport:

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/289 ... onditions
The Big3 basketball league is working to launch -- under quarantine -- a reality-show-style 3-on-3 tournament.

"We've been working on safety issues to make sure we can do this responsibly," Big3 executive Jeff Kwatinetz told Marc Spears of The Undefeated. "We've made a lot of headway since last week and are hoping to move this forward as people need sports and entertainment to get them through hard times."

Kwatinetz and Big3 co-founder Ice Cube have been negotiating with a high-profile television partner to air the show.

Yahoo Sports first reported the Big3's plans.

"It's 'Big Brother' meets Big3," Ice Cube told Spears. "If we can do it in a safe and responsible manner, we will."

According to the Yahoo Sports report, the preseason event would feature seven rounds of games, take place in Los Angeles and include 16 to 22 players who have tested negative for the coronavirus. Players would be under isolation in a large house with a basketball court, the report said, citing sources.

In January, the league announced some major changes, including playing a new sport known as FIREBALL3 as the result of game innovations. The Big3 has also lowered its minimum age for qualifying athletes from 27 to 22.

As a truck driver so far I've been working like normal.im pretty much by myself unless fueling or using the truck stop.but you realize how many people touch keypads and doors.damn. are you guys working?
So far I'm ok but I do flatbed work, bigger loads ,things like a 29 foot generator. Could see them saying it's not essential.guess I could pull a regular trailer.but rest areas are closed some places. Gotta bring food with.cant eat out,and tried some Walmarts..low on alot of stuff ,like water.

2007 McDonalds All American game is on ESPN 2 right now, pretty cool to watch. James Harden, Kevin Love, Michael Beasley and Blake Griffin were there, ex Wolf Jared Bayless, and one of the best passers ever Nick Calathas.

I heard a guy on ESPN this morning “they” are talking about congregating all the teams in two cities and finishing the season. Hopefully, details to follow.

At some point they are just going to have to realize the season is over...sports are probably over for quite a while (end of the year?). It sucks for them to lose all the revenue, which I'm sure is their main reasoning, but some things are bigger than money.

I could see an abbreviated playoffs if this blows over with enough time. In like July or August but past that yeah, no.
