The difference between speculation and suggestion is quite large. Nothing I suggested was official speculation, or really anything more than ideas I wanted feedback on. Also it is kinda duche to start a thread just to take a shot at me. But oh well.

Good catch, that could be very confusing for our less mentally capable posters.

So I’m in the right thread at least.

Seriously tho, he can’t get run on Denver so what are his options?

I would have to think we’d be competitive.

Only problem with this trade proposal is it doesn't meet the crazy insane level. This is very realistic. OKC has a need at what Covington can give them and a plethora of first round picks over the next few years. Although OKC's first round picks are traded in 2020 (protected top 20) and 2022 (protected top 14) they own:

Denver 2020 first (top 10 protected)
Miami or Houston 2021 first (OKC gets the two most favorable picks of their own, Miami, or Houston)
LA Clippers 2022 first unprotected
LA Clippers 2023 first round swap
Miami 2023 first top 14 protected until 2026, unprotected 2026
Houston 2024 first top 4 protected
LA Clippers or Houston 2025 first
Houston 2026 first top 4 protected
LA Clippers 2026 first unprotected

If the WOlves could get 2 lottery only protected first round picks from OKC for Covington that would be a good trade for them.

It is crazy insane because if I were to bet the offer is on the table with or without Muscala...if it is not someone needs to get fired. With 15 picks over 5 years, they have ammo.

The Knicks have Elfrid Payton as their starting PG. So, would you trade Teague and Napier for Frank Nitilikna and Dennis Smith and garbage to make the deal work?

LOL. Burn this franchise to the ground if this happened.

As much as I rip the talent here, I wouldn't trade Culver or Okogie straight up for both Bricky and KDouche

Not really. The Wolves are desperate to keep KAT happy. Picks take time to turn into players, the wolves have a lot of talent, it’s time to get another star and take the next step. We stood firm last season and blew several possible 2nd round picks or better (Taj, Rose, Tolliver.) Teague is trade bait with his expiring contract. Gorgui is expensive, but solid depth on any playoff team, and Roco is apparently highly sought after. Dlo is likely the first priority as he is on a team that is willing to trade a star for a role player and change, but their are other teams. Moving Wiggins also makes sense if you can get someone back who is more consistent, but he should not be given away.
