I can't even think of any Wolves related topics at this point. When does this shit start rolling?
Game 1, what is the starting lineup?

i have a bruise on the back of my left calf that looks like Oliver Miller. is that Wolves related?

How about some predictions?
Western Champ - Lakers - Lebron and AD in a rampage year. The Clippers should be the favorite, but PG and Kawhi health is always iffy.
Eastern Champ - Bucks - maybe Boston gives them a run? I don't trust Philly, Embiid's health and Simmons inability to shoot.
NBA Champ - Lakers
Wolves Over/Under is 36 - Over
MVP - Anthony Davis
ROY - Zion (duh)
Anything else? Maybe some wild predictions?
The Knicks will win less than 15 games. (Vegas O/U is 28)
Toronto and Golden State will miss the playoffs...ok so this isn't that wild, but unusual to happen.
K-Love gets moved by January. Chris Paul too.
Another star or starry player demands out by the deadline.

2 NBA finals teams missing the playoffs. Has that happened in the 16 team modern NBA playoffs? I doubt it. That would be nuts.T_J wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 2:12 pm How about some predictions?

I have the Clips no doubt barring injury. Bringing D back to the NBA.
East I have no idea. But feet to the fire I take Indi if Oladipo is healthy. If they can make a move for some frontcourt depth they could be something. Adding Warren, Lamb, and a healthy Oldipo and that's an interesting club.
Wolves under 36 because it's not once every 15 years where we try.
Rookie of the year is tough because Ja will have the numbers but Zion will win the holy shit did you see that vote. Plus NO is a sleeper playoff team.
Love will finally end up in Portland.
And because it's so stupid it matches his MO. The guy who asks out will be Kyrie.
And monster trade of the year will be pulled by Mia.

I can't even figure out who Brooklyn will start opening night. Will Allen and Jordan play together? If not, who's coming off the bench? I think we all know the locks to start:Moses Scurry wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 11:04 am I can't even think of any Wolves related topics at this point. When does this shit start rolling?
Game 1, what is the starting lineup?
Teague
Wiggins
Covington
Towns
But do they really want to play Covington at the power forward? That's been the buzz. My guess is not right away. I agree with Sam Mitchell that they should try to start Wiggins at shooting guard and not small forward, so they should try to keep Covington at the three.
I could see them putting Dieng back in the starting lineup:
Gorgui Dieng
- His rebounds-, steals-, and points-per-minute go up off the bench, but his usage rate is also higher.
- He's more valuable on offense as a starter.
But you could argue the Bell or Vonleh could start alongside KAT, too.

Re: Wow, we've gotten lame in here.
I can’t see NY being a <15 win team. They’re a dysfunctional org, but they’ve got more talent than that. They’re oddly assembled, sure, but Randle, Barrett, Robinson, DSJ and even Portis, backed up by solid vets in Taj, Morris, Payton and Ellington? That’ll get you more than 15.T_J wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 2:12 pm How about some predictions?

The Twins are doing surprisingly well and the Vikings season is about to start, so this is a nice break from basketball.

My deal is this - try everything. Even things you think you don't particularly care for it. For me, blondes, or American style lagers tend to be bland as fuck. But I keep trying news ones that I have not had before just to make sure there isn't one out there for me.j2j wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 8:27 amI've avoided them because I thought Irish Reds were my thing. Otherwise I love diving into all variations IPAs (yeah yeah, fuck off about IPAs being the Pumpkin Spice for men... lol), stouts (especially milk stouts, as those tend to be super smooth and yummy), amber / bock style, etc.
But sadly, American lager style beers just doesn't do it for me. Bottom line - not enough flavor.

IPAs taste like armpit sweat, so no thanks.
Love ambers, bocks, reds... And now maybe stouts. Though I dont like when they go with flavored ahit, likely chocolate or whatever
