What if the Wolves didn't offer up Wiggins? What does that show us?

‘24-‘26 might have potential otherwise LAC and HOU picks will not add any balls to the lottery machine for OKC
True, but that's a lot of trade ammo, whether it's in the draft to move up, or for a star player.. gonna be interesting to see what they turn those 15 first rounders into..

Someone always will give up a haul for a player of Russell's caliber. For all of you complaining about his contract, and blah, blah, blah... We could have traded him just like OKC did... but maybe for one less pick.

I sure hope Rosas at least tried to offer Wiggins.
Westbrook has almost Zero chance to retain value. To get rid of him you had to take back arguably the worst contract in the NBA. Why would we want a player like that, but worth less in a year or two? We wouldn't.
The worst contract in the NBA is on our roster.
We got John Wall?

Wolves should have given up 3 firsts and pick swaps in perpetuity to move Wiggins for Russ🙄

Yeah, RWB isn't at the top of his game and he has a bad contract, but it would have gotten the general public excited about this team again. Cheering for the lottery pick who tries hard on defense and averages 8 points a game isn't going to fill Target Center.

The entire NBA landscape has.completely changed over the course of about 2 weeks. It's like someone went nutso with the trade machine and there was a button that appeared on the page that said make this shit happen in real life.

How are Westbrook.and Harden gonna share one ball? Off the top of my head here but probably the 2 highest usage rate players BY FAR in the league.

Yeah it should be interesting. I completely get why Houston did it. Have Russ share a load in the regular season. Keep Harden happy. Russ is younger.

Not sure it will work but they needed to change something.

Westbrook and Harden together at this stage of their careers is going to be really ugly basketball.

CP3 is the worst contract in the NBA. He makes more than Wiggins, he plays less than Wiggins, and he doesn't actually bridge the cap to be a legit winner. If Andrew got hurt all the time, totally agree....but CP3 is broken down and owed a ton of money. He is the new Rashard Lewis. Not saying Wiggins deal isn't bad, but it's clearly not the worst.

John Wall's contract might be worse than both. Some ugly deals in the NBA.

If I’m just guessing here it will be RoCo n Teague for Dlo in February we don’t want to part with RoCo but that will likely be the deal

I'd be pretty pissed off with Russell if it did happen. He basically ends up with a team that wanted him, but cost us assets and the start of the season.

Plus a helicopter ride.

And he made KAT look like a fool.

In addition to making WC meltdown and get pissed off at the guy.

Cp3
Wigs
Roco
Bell
kAT

Would make playoffs

No. And I’m not convinced that team makes the playoffs in the West either.

Not that it matters but Teague and CP3 do not like each other. Wake Forest thing.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up a NYK.

Dieng
Teague
Wiggins

All bad deals.
