Would you do Wiggins and Culver for Westbrook?

KAT; Russ; Roco core.

Teague and Wiggins for Westbrook would be nice.
It would help the Thunder fill Westbrook and George's salary slots while waiting for draft picks to develop.

For a player like Westbrook you could give up anything besides KAT and it would be a good deal. You would have to give up a lot. If I am Thunder I ask for...

Covington
Okogie
Culver
Teague
3 First Round picks, 2 of which have to be unprotected.

If I am Wolves... I do it.

Reading some of the other comments about how Westbrook has fallen off the pace, I still would just to get rid of Wiggins.

Terrible deal for wolves. Russ is going to breakdown and has been overrated

I would do Teague, Dieng, and a frp for Russ.

No chance I'd give up Culver with that contract

This looks appealing to OKC.......

Agreed - if you’re taking on Russ’ monster deal (& shaky knees), Wiggins 4-yr deal has to be included in some capacity.

And he’s on a super max w/ bad knees, not to mention the dynamics he brings to the team (not a great history clashing & driving-out 2 superstars).

He'll go to Tor now. And Rosas will get robbed. Of course rubes will claim he did well.

Gross, no. Declining player with a huge contract, and has had 2 superstars in recent years leave because they just couldn't play along side him. If the ultimate goal is to win a title, you won't do that with a Westbrook on your team. And it's not that I wouldn't trade for him because I think so highly of any assets we'd have to give, it's just how little I think of Westbrook. Great stat sheet, but his personality is such that players apparently just don't like playing next to him, and that's not a good sign.

Another "All time" thread to come back and look at it.

Absolutely ridiculous takes in here.

You would think we have young assets like Donic and Zinger.

The only take I can't laugh at to why not to go after Westbrook is I do believe he would absolutely hate having to come here.

LOLOL

That's the case in just about every team's message board. The trades are always lopsided in their favor.

Count me with the group that wouldn’t want to give what it would take to get him.

Towns+Russ+hot garbage doesn’t get you anywhere. I’d only take him on if we got him for some combo of Wiggins/Teague/Gorgui. Even then, I’d be looking to flip him for picks and young players.

But of course, that’s exactly what OKC is going to want, so why would they trade him for what I’d give?

Hot talker, but I don’t think there’s anything here.

Because it's either Towns, Russ and hot garbage or Towns and hot garbage.

Nope.

1) He's 31 very quickly after the start of next season.
2) People here keep talking about not adding players that don't fit the timeline of Westbrook. Not sure why people would change that for Westbrook.
3) He will make $38,506,482, $41,358,814, $44,211,146 and $47,063,478 over the next 4 years.
4) He wouldn't even make us a top 4 seed.

Giving Westbrook's age, salary and what it would cost to get him makes him a terrible target to go after. Hell we wouldn't have the assets to begin with to trade for him and even if we could it would further degrade our cap situation or cost multiple first round picks.

On this team a Westbrook move is a treading water move for this team. He'd be 100% worth to take the gamble on if your team is already good or if you think you are very close to a championship.

People are shitting on the Lakers because they lost out on Kawhi, but they still have Bron and AD.. Russ and KAT would maybe get us to the playoffs. We'd be better off unloading KAT now for picks and start the rebuild..

He hasn't started his max deal and the league could be vastly different in 2 years. An all-time horrible take.

I'm not convinced Kat is a guy you win with as your #1. Not enough Alpha.
