Paul, the 1st or 2nd worst contract for the 3rd worst contract and 2 picks. A clear win for OKC, but a gross trade overall.
This drastically improves Hou. Westbrook is 4 year's younger. They improved with this deal. Made sense for OKC too as they added more picks for their rebuild.
I think it is terrible. Four years younger or not, Paul is a much better off ball player than Westbrook. I said it with Paul too, I jsut do not see the fit. You can spend that 35 million so much better with a good shooter/slasher player than a on-ball PG that needs lots of usage to be worth the money.
I love how you keep trying to tell us that you predicted Paul not working there.

They were a serious choke job from being in the NBA finals. It worked. They were the best team in the NBA in 2017-18.

They took a step back. They are not getting along and Paul could be washed up.

They will be a really good team with Russ. It's all moot though as it's the Lakers and Clippers to win no matter what other teams do at this point.

This is inexplicable from Houston’s standpoint. Absolutely awful imo.

Not only got out of it, they got a top 10 player back!

It's sure no Butler for Saric and RoCo. Not all trades can be that god like.

Nba needs to go to the championship division and qualifying division model. At least it would feel like we are making progress when trying to get up to the big leagues.

Paul is a better fit than Westbrook. And the Rockets could have been a much better team without Paul. Maybe there wasn't alternatives, but a cheaper, high end shooter would be better.

Sergeant Rubetube, please remember that Butler was going to be ufa and he was tanking the team. Stop comparing every trade to that because you look like an idiot.

It was a horrible trade. Come to grips with it. Quit making excuses.

And believe me, I'm not scared to look like a idiot, Moses. You should know this.

Houston has really screwed itself.

Maybe not having a competitive side this season is a good thing. The West is unreal.

We really need to push for the NBA to make changes to who is in the East and West. It makes so much more sense for us even on a divisional rivalry basis. Buck vs Wolves would be important.

They now have a good shot at a NBA title.

I don't think the way Harden plays now will be helpful with Westbrook. I also don't think they will be able to compete with the LA sides. May be wrong, but we shall see.

Also, Kawhi is a different player from Westbrook.

I think I am just angry. I wanted Westbrook :(

It sure looks like the Rockets disagree with your thinking.

Also Kawhi and George are going to have their hands full trying to stop Westbrook and The Beard

The word on Butler being a worthless hunk of shit got out. Nobody wanted him and nobody was going to give anything great for him, they sure as hell weren’t going to mortgage their futures for him.

Russ is trash IMO, but is more of a difference maker than Jimmy. Nobody wants to go play with Butler or Westbrook, those two need to be pushed onto other teams, which is odd considering the success they have had.

The Rockets with Harden and Westbrook.......gross. Although Westbrook is likely the only human that can get the ball away from that guy. CP3 stuck in a full rebuild job, he’s an asshole - but he deserves better than that.

Houston again swinging for the fences and connecting, crazy what they gave up.....people here need to remember that is where Rosas came.

Better start hoping Wiggins has that All Star year he talked about so Rosas doesn’t have to do a fucked up deal like this in a year or two here.
