Nice. A good perimeter defender. Hopefully all that potential comes through for us.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Holy shit! A move I like. Bell is nuts but the good kind of nuts.

Can't wait to give up the draft picks when the league figures out that taking Napier and Graham was to get GS to not match.

He very well could be our starting PF next to KAT kid can defend. Interesting move didn’t see that one coming.

No doubt they used some of the Cash from Napier/Graham deal.

I would have liked to see us try to lock him in for more than a year considering how cheap we got him. 2 years 3M per with a 3rd year team option for 4m or something. Even if he ends up being your 4th big that kind of deal isnt hindering you at all.
Exactly. Get ready to love him and watch Taylor not pay him. How do you not get a 2nd year option?

Doesnt matter. He signed with Brooklyn. Then sign and traded to GSW for a sign and traded Kevin Durant.

The pieces that the WOlves aquired were to match Durant's salary to Russell's.

Still not sure why they would want a 3rd party unless the Wolves requested it.

Bell takes the small deal as he knows he will get playing time in Minnesota and he will play his way into a nice payday next year.

He was literally my top target in FA, great addition imo.
Not my top, but this is an excellent deal. He will fit in extremely well with towns if they do end of playing together. If not, he’s solid off the bench and could become a stud if he’s second string with gorgui

I'd love to see him playing alongside Towns. Very good pick up.

I missed who you were talking about. Yes, i am trying to figure that out too. Did we sign him to an offer sheet? Can we? You need cap space to sign a restricted free agent to an offer sheet

GS tendered a QO offer of $1.6M to Bell.

Obviously GS must have pulled it for the Wolves to get him with that same amount.

this is fantastic! yippee skippy! i think i had bell in my top three bigs i wanted us to sign. he brings a lot of the same stuff to the defensive end that some of us wanted to draft brandon clarke for.

What is his offensive game like?

I like this get, but does he have any offensive skill?

I’d a PF that can work alongside Towns, what about Dieng?

Like this move because it's the right kind of strategy we need to be doing now...cheap high risk low reward players.
