Korver is a nice piece to get a 2nd.

I will 100% disagree on Crowder. Okay defense and poor shooter.

Poor shooter? Last year he was 40% total FG%, 33% on 3s at a rate of 6.5 per game. For a bench player that plays okay defense (I would say better than okay) that's someone that any playoff team would want.

I'm not talking about Memphis getting a huge haul or anything for the guy, but he's definitely movable for future assets.

Those are not good percentages. Keep in mind those are regular season averages. His playoff numbers are normally worse.

They're solid percentages for a role player that still provides defense.

And his sample size in the playoffs is too small for it to be considered statistically worse.

Did our division actually get tougher though from this move? Conley is awesome....but he's a lock to miss double digit games every year and he's turning 32 basically to start the season. Again, love his talent.....but he is on the down swing and he's officially injury prone. Not saying they won't be better with him on the court, I'm sure they will be....but I don't trust him being on the court for the majority of the year.

That's what I'm saying. Last 3 years they've won 50, 48, 51 games. They were already a clear step above us and improved even more for the short term. Losing Korver and Crowder sucks but the massive upgrade from Rubio to Conley negates all that and then some.

We weren't going to be competing with Utah so it doesn't really make it tougher for us. It'd be like adding Conley to the Nuggets (or some comparable player), what does that matter to the Wolves?
