You'd have them on your roster for a year, then you could either keep them or use them as expiring vet contracts in trade talks. The bottom line is that they're trying to free up money in 2021-22 and 2022-23.

Assuming they're moving on from some of the current vets, Johnson could fill a bit of Gibson's role and Waiters would be a lower usage Derrick Rose off the bench.

If both expire this season, then I might think about it. Wiggins shooting percentages are going down, not up.

Nowhere near enough. And isn't James Johnson a partial guarantee that will get cut? We could just sign him. He's a bad ass dude. He'd be a solid get. But we can do better with Wigs
