I would have took him.
Definitely thought about Carrol the last couple rounds.
I also think Melo has a bounce back year of he goes to LA also.

i was so close to taking james johnson as one of my last picks. he's a hard one to figure out. has had a rough year or so - sports hernia injury really knocked him off his game - but i think those things heal, right? if he is indeed back and healthy and buys into what they want him to do in miami, i think he could be back to his old productive-in-multiple-ways self. and when he's on, he's definitely a fantastic guy to have on your team.

Wes Mathews is a useful wing that didn't get picked, like his fit in Milwaukee too. TJ McConnell is always a pretty safe bet at backup point too.

In 2012 the guy took Kobe Bryant, put him over his lap and spanked him in front of his own children.

I need a big year out of Markkanen, but I think he's about to blow up. Wish I'd gotten someone like Thad Young as a defensive 3/4.

One thing that is interesting is that in a 22 team league, because of how the NBA works there are teams much better than our average team.
I think that is a sad fact.

i'm sure as hell not going to argue the merits of my team vs. his team with mlhouse. everyone on this board knows that once he has an idea in his head, it and his brain turn to stone. arguing with someone that intractable is pointless. just suffice it to say, there is no known basketball universe in which my team would "suck".

I think that there are a few groupings of teams, some a little better than others. A couple of middling groupings. And a grouping of some bad teams.KevinBaconIsNotMyHero wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 12:39 amAny teams other than your own any good?
Most teams, including my own, have weaknesses. I like the way I put together my team around James Harden but I have zero clue how a video game will simulate results or how future performance will be. I have 2 2019 lottery picks and 2 2018 lottery picks as backups so how are they going to be rated?
