PJ Washington
What are your thoughts on Washington? I've been reading some news on Twitter about him working out with the Wolves again this year, and I think there is some serious interest in him. I'm starting to think that he would be a really solid pick for our squad.

Re: PJ Washington
Solid player, I would be fine if he's the pick at 11. Can hit from outside. Not too well versed on his defense so I'm sure that's where you get someone who likes Clarke and compares these two.
Has some size issues but makes up for it in wingspan.

Re: PJ Washington
Not a great defender. Would always be a backup on our team unless he or Towns did a huge defensive turnaround. Very good offensive player though. Solid rebounder. No way at 11 though. But if the return was good he'd be a consideration in a trade back. Would have to be the kind of return that would allow us to also get a defensive big to start though.

P.J. Washington: 6.85% body fat, 9” hand length, 10.25” hand width (T-4th among all participants) , 6’6.5” height without shoes, 6’8” height with shoes, 223 pounds, 8’11 standing reach, 7’2.5” wingspan
Soph season: 52.2/42.3% shooting...FT%...66.3
So he's kinda short.

I think we can do better with the 11th pick, but he does kinda look like a young Tag Gibson.

He reminds me too much of Derrick Williams. Maybe even a less athletic version of Williams.

Re: PJ Washington
unless he's built an entirely different way, those measurements (minus the hand width) are almost exactly KBD. except, yeah, half an inch shorter. we don't know how pj tested athletically because he didn't do that part of the combine.Moses Scurry wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 12:22 pmSorry, didn't read it.HeHateMe wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 12:21 pmWhat? Re: PJ Washington
He's a solid athlete at the very least. Short but good standing reach. Doesn't have the defensive instincts we need though. Be one hell of a first off the bench offensive big though. Wouldn't be pissed if we took him in a trade back but there better be a big return and a plan to get a legit defensive starter.somuchyummy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 7:58 amunless he's built an entirely different way, those measurements (minus the hand width) are almost exactly KBD. except, yeah, half an inch shorter. we don't know how pj tested athletically because he didn't do that part of the combine.
