windler is sneaky good as an athlete too. i think people see white guy 6-8 shooter who bangs for rebounds in a lesser conference - and they just assume he's not nba material athletically. and while i'm not saying he'll stand out for his athleticism, i don't think it'll be much of a hindrance either. he's probably as good or better an athlete than joe harris, who led the league in 3 pt shooting % this year. he'll get his shots off and make a lot of them - plus is savvy enough to help in other ways. windler's a good pick for the spurs.

Definitely agreed. Spurs just have an absolutely lack of shooting threats. He'd play immediately.

my perspective is worth two cents, but here it is:

froobs enter this thing on a continuum of enthusiasm. some alot, some not as much. i fully recognize that i belong to the group pegged in the red - and that can sometimes be a pain in the ass for others. decker appears to either be a) waaaay on the opposite end of the spectrum and doesn't care much or b) is actively trolling the process. keldon johnson at 32? and then leaving again when he's got two more picks in a row?

biggest problem is that somehow decker got 7 picks in the draft. i'm certainly not complaining about my slots - i got 5 - so i already feel a little guilty, but am happy. but decker with 7? unless he comes in with three picks in the very short future (like by 7:30) i'd be all in favor of doling out his other picks to froobs who only got a couple. the guy who has the least interest or is actively trolling shouldn't have the most picks. btw, no dig on you mglviks - how would you have known?

finally, i traded 35 along with 44 for my shot at bruno fernando - so i'm not the next guy up after decker. it's mlhouse.
