Fingers crossed.

Have to assume this blows the "Rui promise" rumor out the water?

A guy on another site pointed out that
1. Phx just worked out Brandon Clarke, who is not expected to go Top-10
2. Minny has Coby White & Sekou coming in, both expected to go Top-6 or 8 now.

Maybe a trade comin'?

Phoenix allegedly has wanted Tyus for awhile. Though would be weird if he was traded away from his Brosef Ryan.

11 and Tyus isn't enough to get to 6.

It doesn’t have quite the same ring as Doodie Ebi, but unlike him this Doumbouya kid sure as hell looks like an NBA talent.

Can tyus be traded now before his contract officially ends?

We've had the #1 on a great year to have it. We've had top 5's multiple times. Almost all of them we had no certainty to who we'd take with the franchise on the line that high. And yet this year is the most intriguing I can remember. It's not just the player we pick but the method by which we do business. Move up? Move back? Get and extra pick? Move an existing player? A future pick? We get to see how our future might run.

I have a feeling we make some kind of splash on draft night. Rosas comes from an organization known for moving for their guy and worrying about recouping the assets it costs later. Known for getting additional assets by sliding back if their guy isn't there. Also know for knowing well the international game.

I believe they will attempt to use a future 1st or Saric to slide up to take Doumboya. If they can't they will sit and pray he falls to 11. If he doesn't we will slide back a few picks. Just my guess but even if everything falls right and we get our guy at 11 I still think some kind of move comes later. Saric move has been my guess.

To me, this draft is more intriguing because of the new front office than because of the players.

Players they take of course determine the outcome but surely it's more interesting to watch the new FO operate. And while draft won't determine it by the end of FA we will know what they think of the current roster and when they think we can compete.

Most exciting thing would be Taylor not giving the yearly drunk interview where he tips our hand.

Seems so hard to move up in the Draft, being 11th is pretty unattractive I would think for teams on the top 7 or 8 right now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Wolves ended up trading down, it just seems more likely.

Rosas seems like the type to swing for the fenses. Cause whats the point for landing an average guy.

I feel like its gonna be a bust or boom pick not a safe one persay.

That said. Little, Naw or Bol Bol even.

I don't know what the Wolves are thinking, but I think there isn't much if any difference in picks 4 through 12 or so.
Its kinda a weak draft, but we should get just as good a player where we're at as the Lakers, Bulls, Suns....

The difference between 4-12 can be a huge difference to different teams. Fit with style and roster are huge when talent is similar. What it's worth to move is TBD and may be too much but as you said the talent is not that different. Add paying less in salary and a team may be willing to move down cheaply.

I agree with this. You get the pick of the litter. The 12th pick might be as good as the 4th pick, but doesn't fit as good.
And for some teams, salary relief may be more important than fit.
