I would assume he'd be fine with any vet guy doing his legwork since he's the final say. I would think short term he keeps Layden just from the fact he knows every detail of all trade talks in the last year. Lot of times those get refreshed or at least you have an idea of how teams value your guys and theirs. Seems a big leg up not having to start from square 1 feel out on every deal. Could see a change maybe after initial FA. But have to say if I was him I'd keep things intact until at least next year. Leg up helps him as well as the team.

I have always contended they carved a head for him out of wood and have been weekend at Bernieing him for years. So I guess I don't actually blame the marionette. Who's puling the strings?

I'm just glad we have a guy that has no horse in this race and will look at each player and make a logical decision on who to keep and who to move. He'll evaluate Saric, see if he's a worthy guy to resign on a team friendly deal. Wiggins long term future. Etc.

I'd say he see Towns, Covington (cheap contract), Okogie and Diop (rookie deals) as the only keepers. Everything else is up fro grabs.

Believe me i want this team to be good but Minnesota is basketball purgatory. There hasn't been a worse run organization in maybe all of sports since the inception.

You know the Lakers? Ya they have won multiple championships and pushed out multiple Hofers in that time.

They have Lebron and will land another star this offseason.

This was for once, a very attractive job when we had all the young bucks. It's back to square one now. I wouldn't want to coach here at all. We have no money, no assets and have a non playoff roster. There isn't really any moves to be made to fix this anytime soon either unless they hit big tonight.
