I thought Greer got fired along with Thibodeau.flexbuffchest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 10:22 pm
Love the fact that Saunders actually is willing to take in advice. Sign of a good leader

Wiggins led the team last night with 6 midrange shots. Only made 2. He's got to knock that shit off, but his 10 cent head probably won't get the message.

With the 10 man rotations that we are starting to see that should mean we are going to see more RoCo and Okogie lineups

This is one of Jon K's big sources from last year when bench guys basically admitted they had no relationship with Thibs and had no clue where they stood with him.flexbuffchest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:45 pm
Tyus talking about how it's awesome that Ryan trusts his feel and judgement for the game. He was asked if that makes a difference and he immediately says yes, yes when your coach believes in you when hes telling me everyday to continue to play with confidence, play your game, I trust your feel, I trust watch you see out there...there is no better feeling.
He was NO fan of Thibs.

What a name.
Tuesday we're going to war against the 6ers. Jimmy Butler in a body bag. KG is loading up the clips right now.

I remember Taylor had hired like a renowned search firm to basically find the candidates and interview them, and they brought Thibbs as the best candidate for the Head Coach/Overlord job.
Is this search firm still in business? Somebody needs to find them and shit all over their social media outlets.

As well all said, he seemed a great hire at the time when you looked at the crop. In fact, a lot of NBA commentators said it was the best addition to a team for that offseason.jodaman01 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 11:55 pm I remember Taylor had hired like a renowned search firm to basically find the candidates and interview them, and they brought Thibbs as the best candidate.

P.S Joda, you are free. Thibbs and Butler are gone. Be at peace.

It was the homerun hire at the time. It didn't work. That's okay. At least they tried. That's more than we can usually say about this team.LordNu wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 12:00 amAs well all said, he seemed a great hire at the time when you looked at the crop. I did not like Thibs. I wanted him canned at the onset of the Butler hullabaloo. But I'm still glad they gave it a shot. Same with the Butler deal. Maybe in another universe those 3 mesh extremely well together and become a real contender. It's a bet worth taking. I'm glad they know the answer and can now move on.

Apparently not so great with sports. I could've told you Thibs was the top guy.
I think i remember reading something that said they told Glen to try to get Monty out of retirement/bereavement and Thibs was the backup plan.
