And I didn't miss a shot, even though I didn't play in the game

Are you seriously gonna make up stats now to defend Wiggins?

Speaking of hard work: unfade works harder defending Wiggins than Wiggins does playing basketball.

i'm not defending wiggins here - you can't on a night when he scores 20 pts on 19 shots, while our rookie SG (you know, the guy who's a horrible shooter) scores 19 pts on 9 shots. but i will say that wiggs is terribly and/or terrifically unconcerned about his shooting percentage. so yeah, there are plenty of games where he's shot himself OUT of a good shooting night. starts out 7 for 10 and finishes 8 for 21, that sort of thing.

unlike jeff teague, who looks like he's completely stat-centered to the point that he'll pass up really important open shots late in the game if there's a chance it might lower his percentage. you can just see the wheels turn "okay, i'm 4 for 9 tonight. if i make this shot, i go to 50% - but it's not a sure thing, so i could conceivably drop to 40% - which wouldn't look good - so let's just pass this baby up cuz then i can safely stay at 44%. here dario, you shoot it. but do it quick cuz oops there's less than a second left on the shot clock."
There is little difference between the memory of a real event and the memory of a dream.

RT @RealDCunningham: Four of the five starters tonight for the Wolves either finished positively or even in terms of plus/minus. Wiggins was the odd man out with minus-7.

Listen to Ryan Saunders talk about Okogie after tonight’s game. He was talking about how Okogie wants to improve every single day, how he asks questions constantly and is just great to be around. That’s the kind of player you want on your team. So the next buffoon(jodadope) who posts on WC mocking Josh Okogie and singing the praises of Andrew Wiggins, just know that you sound more ridiculous every day.

In his last 25 games (including tonight) he has taken more shots than points.

429 shots
423 points

He shot 38% from 3 in college and was a 77% FT shooter. He was a great pick and has an NBA future due to his multi-positional defensive prowess. Like you said, mocking Okogie and defending Wiggins bumass is an embarrassment.

Bradley Beal wants out of Washington.

Wiggins, Okogie, and our lottery pick for Beal would get it done

Why is it funny? It’s similar for what we paid for Butler who was an all star like Beal.

Zach, Dunn, lottery pick

No, it wouldn't.

I would do this trade all day. Washington would never do it.

It's not even close.

Dunn was a WAY better prospect at the time than Okogie. Wiggins has proven to suck and is also on a max deal.

They wouldn't even do it if you threw RoCo in.

The point is they still had high hopes for him.

There isn't a combination of anything on this team that nets you Beal other than Kat.

You're delusional. This roster reeks.

Wiggins has one of the worst (the worst?) contracts in the NBA. We arent going to magically turn it into Bradley Beal, even if we throw in some loose change.

Lets, for Unfadeable's purpose, say Wiggins/Okogie/and a lottery pick is enough value for Beal...what other options may be on the table?

Lakers need a star next to Lebron...boom, Ingram and their lottery pick for Beal instantly trumps the Wolves offer.

Say Milwaukee feels they need to add more star power after falling short...Kris Middleton and whatever the fuck else they want to throw in, trumps the Wolves.

Detroit needs roster balance...Drummond or Blake instantly trumps the Wolves offer.

Portland could offer them CJ

Celtics...Jaylen Brown and salary filler

Knicks land a star in free agency...DSJ, Knox a future first and salary fillers

Spurs...Derozan

Kings...Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes

Just a few potential offers that could be available...Wolves cant touch these with Wiggins. Wiggins has negative value in a possible trade because of the contract. The contract is the huge difference between the Lavine/Dunn/lottery pick for Butt that you brought up. Learn the game.

So I watched Wiggins and only Wiggins for much of the fourth quarter when we were trying to come back.

His attempts to fight and get around picks and defend is so laughable, a junior high player would do better. It's so half-assed I wouldn't even call it half-assed, more like quarter-assed. Slowly go around the pick, not really fight the guy off, then just lazily reach at your man from behind to give the appearance you are trying.

Worthless piece of shit.

As Butler said, he is here just to collect checks and he has no interest in basketball, its just a job he coasts at.

It happens too often (happened again last night) that one of the NBA's least efficient players takes the most shot attempts and plays the most minutes on our team. Wig was marginally ok last night (by Wig's standards, not by max contract standards) and was still taking long 2's and not helping us win. I'm worried that Ryan won't do anything about it. Maybe the new POBO will arrange some sort of Wes Johnson trade for him.
