Nobody that wouldn't have bought tickets otherwise is going to go out of their way to buy tickets because Wiggins is Canadian. Do people here buy Wolves tickets to watch Tyus Jones?Thrillkill wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 9:26 pmYeah, Canadians hate Canadians. It's a way to promote the team half wit. Should they put Hey we bought you a title now here's your tank team" on a poster? Would you be able to understand that?Dan33185 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:48 pmNobody that wouldn't have bought tickets otherwise is going to go out of their way to buy tickets because Wiggins is Canadian. I would think Hachimura or Doumbiya both fit the bill.

Gersson Rosas has met with Andrew Wiggins several times, expressing support for him
Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Andrew Wiggins did not exactly have the best year last season. Many believe that he has not been able to live up to the high expectations the team have had on him, while others still have questioned his effort and passion on the court.
The good news for Wiggins is that he apparently has the full backing of Minnesota’s new president of basketball operations, Gersson Rosas. According to the 6-foot-8 small forward himself, Rosas reached out to him as the team executive made sure that they would be able to connect on a more personal level.
“I came and met Gersson with some of my family, and he was amazing,” Andrew Wiggins said, via Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic. “He held my daughter like his own. He said he’s a big family guy, and so am I, and I feel like that goes a long way right there.”
Wiggins went on to explain how Rosas discussed the team’s future plans with him and how the former Rookie of the Year figures significantly in the same.
“And he was just telling me his plans for the future, what he wanted of me and said he believes in me, and some encouraging words,” he added. “That’s good to hear.”
In his fifth year in the league last season, Wiggins averaged 18.1 points (on 41.2 percent shooting), 1.6 three-pointers, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 34.8 minutes per contest. He is currently on a long-term deal with the Timberwolves which will extend up to the 2022-23 season, and it appears that Wiggins will remain to be part of the team’s plans moving forward.

Yeah I considered that. Wasn't referring to any cross overs or spins. More just the general explosiveness at the rim and how high and quick he gets up.
