Players "that need the ball a lot"

Post by salamander »

Players that need to be fed are not good players.

Sorry, missing a ton of shots but while scoring a lot in a game is not the mark of a good player.
That's the mark of a bad player who is selfish.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

This post right here is a classic case of Rube wisdom.

We hate "ballhogs".

But if you had a lineup of Rube favorites, it'd be the most stagnant offense in the history of mankind.

Dunn/okogie/Brewer/Tolliver/Hummel yay no ballhogs! Have fun with that.

I'm not saying that being a ball hog is bad.
