Yeah it was reported he was sick, which makes sense considering he didn't play with his usual energy.

I think the point is less about him being sick and more about being a no-call, no-show for shoot around.

I'm not enamored with him, but it is encouraging that the Heat currently trust him to kind of be their main man running the show. That being said when I check the game threads on Realgm, it seems like the fans are cursing out Richardson for mistakes and saying they need Butler in that role. We wouldn't necessary need Richardson so focused on Offense with Wiggins and Towns taking quite a few shots, and Richardson can focus more on his 3 and D here. If nothing presents itself Richardson is a good contract, gets Jimmy out East, and as long as we don't have to take on a bad contract like Waiters, I'm okay with it.

The sad thing is, there's a guy named McGruder that's playing much better than Richardson. They have guys like James Johnson, Ellington, Winslow all coming back healthy at once. The reason JRich has gotten the minutes he has the last year, is because of necessity more than talent level now. Last season they were a mash unit. They have a ton of above average talent though that plays hard. I'd aim higher, but JRich is still a very good player on a very good contract.

I like KBD a lot -- they need him to hit some outside shots. Okogie has some skill but he looks really raw. Maybe should have taken Grayson Allen!

It’s somewhat difficult to make a trade work with that package. Adding Olynyk gets it done, but Miami probably stalls at that point. The other salary fillers on Miami likely makes us stall.

They’re not trading both Adebayo and Whiteside.

You can tell this is all taking a toll on the players. We won't even make the playoffs with Butler. This has been embarresing to start the season. We will lose tonight and then lose to the Jazz, Warriors, Blazers, Clippers, and the Lakers again. Chemistry is huge in team sports and this team just doesn't have it.

Only in the missing shots category. Otherwise, he's had some nice drives and passes.

Grayson looks terrible on D. Very raw. Then again he is 23 compared to the young Okogie. I'll still disagree with your desire for Allen over Okogie.
