I am wondering how long LeBron will stay patient but I don't know if Butler is his guy. The long game is Durant/Klay for LeBron.UnFadeable21 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:58 pm I would trade Butler for Ingram And KCP come December 15

No way are they moving Ingram for Butler. Sure Butler is better but you can have ingram and another star for the price of Butler.HeHateMe wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 10:38 amI am wondering how long LeBron will stay patient but I don't know if Butler is his guy. He's my question. Let's say Okogie gets in a nice offensive rhythm and is getting us a solid 12 points a game and playing mistake free in the offense while giving us the same D and rebounding he's been showing. Does that make anyone less anxious to move Butler and call his bluff? Obviously I don't think anyone turns down Richardson and Bam or a pick and no bad money but more likely it's either crap and picks or Richardson and a bad contract. If Okogie looks like the shit long term as a back up plan to Butler it gives us an out where we are not leaving a giant hole if Butler just walks. I'm sure a lot will say you HAVE to get something now but why? Still a chance he's not the first pick of the teams he wants. Still the chance that teams like Mia that can't afford him want a S&T. Still the chance we get better and better and he changes his mind.

Klay isn't leaving GS. Him and Curry are too tight and built that team.HeHateMe wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 10:38 amI am wondering how long LeBron will stay patient but I don't know if Butler is his guy. Durant is no guarantee.
Lebron is already complaining about his patience running thin. Jimmy joining Lebron would be Miami like. Jimmy in the Dwade Role.
Rondo
Jimmy
Lebron
Kuzma
Mcgee

KCP has already been benched for Josh Hart. Once December 15th comes and he becomes available to move, he will be dealt. He's more of just an expiring contract throw in guy.T_J wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:13 amI'm not gonna say Ingram is untouchable, but there's no chance they do that. Jimmy and LeBron are not friends, fwiw. It's been pointed out numerous times. He does not have the Lakers as a choice for a destination.UnFadeable21 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 11:13 amKlay isn't leaving GS. Klay might leave, I don't expect it but LeBron even tweeted for him today. The seeds are planted there. Much more for Durant of course. Durant will not be with the Warriors beyond 2020 and everyone in the league knows it.
And the Lakers will not, no chance in the world, trade Ingram for Butler.

Does anyone know why Butler wouldn't take the super max from the Wolves this summer?

He wanted an extension this past offseason and if he wasn't going to get that, trade him. Don't think he thought Wiggins/Towns would get him to where he wanted, Towns wasn't going to sign his max until Butler was gone, Butler prefers big market too it appears.jimmyjamjammer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 12:45 pm Does anyone know why Butler wouldn't take the super max from the Wolves this summer?

I don't think they offered it. They offered him the 110 mil, 4 year deal.jimmyjamjammer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 12:45 pm Does anyone know why Butler wouldn't take the super max from the Wolves this summer?
For Butler, it’s the financially sensible decision. While it’s never easy turning down $100-plus million, he could be in line for a much bigger payday next offseason. While the $110 million was the max Minnesota could offer Butler at the moment, the Wolves could offer the All-NBA wing a five-year, $187 million deal next summer, while other teams could offer Butler a four-year deal worth up to $140.

HHM, no I meant this upcoming summer (2019).
I've just read a lot of different reasons why.
I personally had come to the conclusion that they told his agent they weren't going to offer the $190 million super max this upcoming summer because Glen Taylor didn't want to pay that much tax, and thus Jimmy wanted to get traded so a team could offer him the full super max.
I've read his agent is an idiot, but he had to understand there's no way they could make room for him. Very few teams had cap space. Thibs shouldnt have splurged on JT and Gibson (or even Wigs, but thats a whole other can of worms)
Maybe its just a combo platter of things and Jimmy just doesnt like it here. But there's really never been a definite reason, in my mind, why he wants out

I was on vacation when this Houston trade rumor of 4 firsts came up. How certain is this rumor and what are the protections?
WHat I heard is that the rest of the trade would be Brandon Knight and Chriss, both not playing due to injury. Thibs will not do that trade because he gets nothing for this season. Glenn Taylor would need to step in and overrule him.

If someone trades for him, they will give him the super max. it's funny that most of the stuff i'm reading from around the nba is that the rockets are giving up too much by losing four firsts.
There is little difference between the memory of a real event and the memory of a dream.
