Coby White stands out more in Nassir Little's highlights than Nassir Little stands out in Coby White's highlights. Both are going to be very good, but Coby's pace is insane, and made for hitting the ground running. Literally. I am liking a lot of different players. Lots of teammates that will be interesting to look back on and compare.

White's a solid prospect but I don't get why he get's the rep as a guy who can shoot considering his numbers. Little looks like a beast on some plays and a football player in open gym on others. Not a consideration for us at all unless we have a deal for Wigs but even then I'd be scared off by how similar to MKG he is.

The absolute death nail of projection. Projecting a skinny guy to put on 5 pounds of muscle is one thing. Expecting an absolute brick layer, glass chipper to become a solid shooter? And wasting a top 5 pick on that? Just silly. So bad I can't believe it wasn't the Wolves that did it.

White's success hinges on his ability to finish at the next level. I have no illusions of him being a PG, he is a modern two. At PG you are not going to be getting the most from him. Just like NAW is not a PG and should not be taken as one.

Don't think he'll suck but never wanted him even when he seemed in our range. He just doesn't seem like a full time PG to me. And while he looks like he has a decent shot and range it didn't translate to his stats.

Yeah, if some team could find a way to take both that would be a great backcourt.

I don't disagree. It would be innovative, it might not work, but it might.

I feel like White as a 6th man would be killer. Let him be a combo scorer. If he picks up the passing and handle better, and improves the turnovers, then give him more responsibility. But, that's not why you draft him that high I guess.

Everyone was saying that until he got hurt. Shit, just go look at his numbers in the games he played and the highlights from those games. He's a freak.

Freak big with fucked up feet. Take him any damn day if I was 100% sure you get 70+ games a year from him

I hope no one used the word "interesting" in those clips, I dont think froobchat could withstand the fire storm it would cause.

My biggest concern about Bol Bol aside from the serious injury question is his functional strength as a big in the NBA. As skilled as he is offensively(and I think he’s very skilled), guys bully him on the defensive end not only scoring but rebounding as well. He could certainly get stronger, he was a college freshman, but that showed up watching him even in the few games he played.

Plus, can he get up and down the floor on D? It’s a huge question. He doesn’t look too quick to me.

But hey, what do I know? I only grew seven inches taller between 8th and 9th grade and had stress fractures in both my feet.

I was bothered by Osgood–Schlatter in 7th so I had a knee issue but was fine by 9th grade. 5'5 to 6'1 between 8th and 9th, grew another inch or two then in 9th grade.

He was in his top 5 early in the year. But how would you know that. You'd have had to like watch a game or look at his stats or something silly and meaningless like that.

We get it. It’s your party (the draft) and you’ll cry if you want to.

Did you address where he had him in his top 5 before he got hurt? No? Because you lack the capacity to do so.

And everyone knows that.

Does the NBA draft happen at the start of the year?

Nope.

He has foot issues, so he dropped.

Sorry to break that reality to you.

Now that early season top 5 guy has empty seats in the front row at his pro day.

bol will always have problems on the block when some 250 lb center (and yes, it could even be a 230 lb center) puts his hip into him - which will happen nearly every offensive and defensive possession. it'll be hitting bol on the thigh - and ass beats thigh 1000 to 0. i know i wouldn't want montrezl jacking his big ass into my poor thigh 140 times in a game. multiply by 82. bol's not built for the league.
