Yeah you know my feelings on him since my obsession got your obsession going. But if we take Clarke I'm starting to lean towards one of the Jalen's. Both Hands and Lecque are freak athletes. Seen Hands have some great games (and some duds) Never got to see Lecque with the red shirt but check this.

We are going in for Hachimura? Hmm
The rumor before this was that Wash would take White but he won't be there so Hachimura might be their backup plan. That seems more likely than us really.

Would anyone be opposed to a trade down and getting Thybulle?

I know we need a big, but take a chance and hope Konate is there if and when we pick round 2?

I think one or both of Sekou or Rui will be there.

NAW may be better than both, and Clarke too.

Something I’ve been mulling over.

Hopefully Sekou is plan A, but they don't expect him to be there. Then someone else swoops in and grabs Rui, leaving Sekou for us.

Zion, Ja, RJ, Hunter, Culver, Garland, and White are the 7 guys who I believe are guaranteed to go before us.

Then there's a mashup of these 7 who I believe have a chance of being in the top 10 somewhere due to rumors:
Cam Reddish
Sekou Doumbouya
Rui Hachimura
Brandon Clarke
Jaxson Hayes
Nassir Little
Kevin Porter Jr

Best case scenario Porter and Reddish are 2 of the 3 we need to go before us.
Im kinda hoping someone takes a chance on Bol Bol before we pick.
He has some potential, but I think a much better chance to bust...

I'm opposed. I think best case for Thybulle is a rotational defensive specialist. I doubt he is ever a starter.

thybulle could become a starter in the right situation. would tony allen start for every team in the league? probably not. but he started for some. wherever tony allen was though - even with the warts - he was a good guy to have on your team.

yes - but what are your thoughts about his highlight reel? this is a guy who thru non-participation this season, "played" his way out of an invite to the combine. he's currently a non-factor draftwise. i'm split between "eh, wait and see if he goes undrafted and then give him a call" - or - "holy shit. let's just take him at 43 and show him some love". anybody here like the thought of lucking into the latest reincarnation of ben wallace? i sure do.

If it means someone like Sekou or Rui still being on the board, then sure. If not, I'd rather Bol be on the board.

Cam Reddish

What is the probability Reddish is available at #11?

Would you select him if he was available?

I want to like him because his season at Duke has to be a fluke, right? Probably just a contrarian take, though.

Im just a little hesitant he might have Wiggins basketball desire.

I tried really hard to sell myself on him today and I can't NOT see Wiggins in every highlight tape. It's like the perfect comparison. Gross.

Said as much a few weeks ago. Reddish has a lot of Wiggin's desire in him.

I feel like Reddish will be better than Wiggins, which isn’t saying much.

8 out of 12. that's better than i thought he'd do - even unguarded and in a practice gym. weird form though - the release seems low and kind of jerky. but he'd still probably get them off because no one will be guarding him past the 3 pt line. i don't ever see it being a big part of his game, but it's nice to know that he can knock a few down.

i can see the appeal of lecque. he IS an athletic freak - but the rub on him, as i've heard, is that he's not the greatest team player or steadiest performer. seems to want to sniff out a couple of highlight reel plays per game instead of just play the steadier game for the win. i'm sure he's got some maturing to do - so it's certainly not a closed book. probably could benefit from a year or two in the G. but he's for sure NOT a sure thing. ask PG josh selby - number one overall ranked HS player just 9 years back. that's quite a career josh is having in the korean league. 28 years old now.
