82-0.

They’ll be so impressive that the nba will recind their losses.

Seriously? They get that easy with relative health. We didn't exactly set the world on fire early last year either.

If the team we've seen the last two times out is the new Timberwolves, they will make the playoffs comfortably.

Health almost always determines at least 3 of the last 4 playoff spots in the west. We have the kind of depth that should let us weather some bad injury weeks. Not sure how many teams we will fight with can say that.

The West got much deeper then last year year. Without going into drastically unrealistic scenario's, the top 13 seeds right now could realistically make the play offs with a few things going their way.

The only teams which I don't view as play off hopefuls at all are Dallas and Phoenix.

Yep, probably. Teams will cannibalize each other's win just because of how strong the West is. If you can get on a good stretch and get your head above that middle pack wins wise, you might be able to ride that into a pretty high seed in the West.

What happens when they have a damaging injury? or when they lose 3-4 in a row? Does this team have the mental strength or leadership to right the ship? Because both of these things will happen. I think the Wolves are a 30-36 win squad. They don't have a guy who will take over the game in the 4th quarter when it's neck and neck. They don't have a true leader. I love KAT, but he showed me he's too passive of a person to run the locker room when adversity hits. The team just game up when they had a locker room distraction. No one was playing well. KAT looked awful. Worst I've seen him look actually.

True. Haven't been on the road with the new guys yet. But at least they're taking care of business at home. That's step one.

I really think so.

KAT
Wiggins
Teague
Rose
Covington
Gibson
Saric

That’s a pretty talented top 7.

The next guys behind them are above average bench players, too:

Dieng
Jones
Okogie
Tolliver

With Covington leading the defense both physically and with his voice (the latter is HUGE for this team), and our great chemistry, I really like our odds.

I REALLY want to get on board with this. But I need to see a few more games first. Thibs may get in the way with his minutes distribution thereby injuring key players as well.

I still struggle to blame injuries on too many minutes.
Bench players get hurt too.

2nd to last in the Western Conference. I'd love for this team to prove me wrong but I don't think they will.

This team's stars lack effort.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Its going to be tough but yes we can make it if Thibs can play the right combination of players. We have the talent to compete with anyone. We might not be elite and title contenders but we have enough.

I'm going to assume no. Too much turmoil, too many good teams, not enough grit from Wiggins and KAT.

65 games remaining.

Home: 32
Away: 33

East: 25
West: 40

5-Game Home Stands: 1 (currently finishing)
4-Game Home Stands: 2
3-Game Home Stands: 2

4-Game Road Trips: 1
3-Game Road Trips: 6

Back-to-Backs: 9 (finish season with a home/road back-to-back against the Raptors and Nuggets)

Final 10 (Current Record):

@ Memphis (11-5)
LAC (11-6)
GSW (12-6, 2018 Playoff Team)
Philadelphia (12-7, 2018 Playoff Team)
Portland (12-5, 2018 Playoff Team)
@Dallas (7-9)
Miami (6-11, 2018 Playoff Team)
OKC (10-6, 2018 Playoff Team)
Toronto (14-4, 2018 Playoff Team)
@Denver (10-7)

While the Wolves are at home for 8 of their last 10 games, they play the current top six teams in the Western Conference and two of the current top four teams in the East. In other words: they better get their act together by the All-Star break, because they're not digging themselves out of a hole late this year.
