This game is apparently extremely brutal.

I'm really worried. The first game was perfection, even the ending. I wish Naughtey Dog would've gone with a new IP.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Saw the first big event happen on a playthrough. Fucking brutal. I'm not in for this one. The misery already on full blast.

The ending was really the capper in that game. Joel is simultaneously incredibly sympathetic and a total monster.

I didn't much care for the gameplay. It was okay. But the story was real good.

I can understand why people don't like the gameplay. For me, im a huge Hitman fan so I love that kind of stuff.

I hope I have this experience too. I'm holding off on buying this one until I am on a working week. Since I have to stay up all night anyway, might as well put in a little gaming time.

It was probably like 30ish hours. I know people the average is around 25, but I like to take my time. Enjoy the views...die a few times, so on.

Yeah, I was one to collect EVERYTHING in the first game, going to every possible spot to get items.

30 hours is a good time. Isn't it weird that the length of games plays a factor now, and I sometimes want to start a shorter game because that's all I want to invest in - as opposed to a Witcher 3.

My job is to answer a phone and deal with the problem presented to me. Sometimes I get a shitload of calls, most of the time I just sit around wondering how in the hell they are paying me to do this. So, might as well play a game or two!
I know, but for most people, the idea of having a work week meaning you should get a game to play whilst working is so flipped. Great for you though!

It's south of Canada.
There is this line of acceptability, It has to be South of North Dakota, or North of North Dakota.

Are folks enjoying? I won't be picking it up.. I just can't do it. The first game gave me too much anxiety. I didn't like it. Great game though.

Its subjective. Some people love it. Some hate it. But everyone has a opinion on it and that's the point. Hopefully someday you'll give yourself the chance to play it.

I have started to play LOU part 1.

I've realized that I mostly suck at console games (PC gamer here - back when I gamed).

So far I have only killed 4-5 dudes with my pistol. Most of my kills have been via choking someone mercilessly from behind. Wtf?!

I have now escorted Elie with Tess past some dark outside area. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks in advance.

I am now in the midst of some zombie like creatures that look like your average froob.

Behavior pattern akin to the denizens of polichat.

I've been killing them with weapons I've been making with my shoe laces.

Will continue to keep everyone posted.

Captain's Log, day 9 of 7.

Seeing the number of empty bottles lying around everywhere, it's clear that pandemics lead to excessive consumption (extra teh tube).

Just upgraded the fire rate of my pistol using a pair of toe nail clippers.

Bye Tess. We'll always have Paris. Or Boston. Or wherever.

To be continued....

Just wait until you get to the hotel basement. :gun:

I never understood why there were so many bottles and bricks until I played the hardest mode.

Talk to me, goose. What am I missing here?

Do you toss the bottles/bricks at the enemy?

So far I've only used them to disable booby (extra Cobey) traps.

I think it's to create a distraction so you can run past them/alerts them to where you are if you stumble over them.

And to the comment above, that hotel basement.... Eugh.
