A win in Starkville is extremely impressive with this roster. Obviously it's a small sample size, but Ben Johnson has done a really good job thus far.

I think what we have here is a squad of players that nobody wanted, and they are playing their azzes off trying to prove they belong. I certainly didn't expect a 7-0 start (who am I kidding, I didn't even care enough to make a prediction) and I'd venture a guess that they'll continue to work hard under Ben and may win 5 or 6 Big 10 games.....the season will end, we'll all say "Good job little Engine that could" then hope he lands a couple of top recruits. Regardless what happens, I think we ALL are glad Ricky ain't coachin!
