Get Jelly Fam in the game. Watching Coffey take the ball up is awful. Put him at the wing and get McNugget out of the game.

Still like Curry but it seems the trend that Pitinos players never get much better than what they are when they get here.

Coffey isn't any better than he was as a freshman. Someone save Oturu while they can.

Coffey sounded like a sure fire NBA prospect. It sure doesn't look like it anymore. Doesn't shoot or handle worth a damn. Wait.... he reminds me of someone on the Wolves.............. With the exception being Coffey actually will play hard at least.

They battled but there is no reason they couldn't of won this.

Murphy and Oturu played great.

Coffey and McBrayer were atrocious.

Ball actually moved when Isaiah was in the game.

Liked what I saw from Murphy in the second half. Oturu is a solid building block for this program.

Washington has had some flashes recently and didn't do much with playing time last night.

They don't get enough looks for Kalscheur, offensively you can see how Wisconsin spaces the floor using Happ but Murphy doesn't know how to fuckin' pass out of a double team. They work the high low a lot but force it too much sometimes.

Someone said Curry is bad at defense, no, he's not but I'd be shocked if the knee didn't bother him still. Limits his mobility a lot. He's almost 1.5 years removed from a torn ACL. I don't think Coffey wore a brace on his that long after.

Dupree, I don't know what to say. The guy looks like he's lost all confidence. I do acknowledge he's quick and generally stays with his man on defense, he has a good handle but the shots aren't falling, he's pretty weak when going towards the hoop if a big guy is waiting for him.

I don't know what the answer is this year, I know this team has a lot of talent so I'm still hopeful they can finish out 4-4 from here on out in the regular season and get into the tournament. MSU won't be easy but they're obviously not unbeatable.

On Pitino, comes down to results at this point for me. Richard Coffey has been on Doogie's podcast recently saying he's trying to figure out what offense they're running. That's worrisome but I can forgive it if they're winning games. I can't necessarily blame Pitino for shots that aren't falling but the simple fact of double teams and mismatches are what they need to look for and it doesn't ever look like the Gophers try to take advantage of that. This program since Tubby/Pitino have been here has always been WHAT IF...

what if Royce White/Mbakwe are eligible in 09-10?
what if Nolen doesn't get hurt?
what if Springs doesn't get hurt?
what if Lynch doesn't sexually assault half the u of m campus?
what if you don't recruit DIedhiou/Konate?
what if Carr is eligible?

The lack of jump shooters and free throws are going to be the demise if this team doesn't make the tournament.

If Washington is running the point with McBrayer on the floor, McBrayer is expected to hit some shots, right? He's been brutal (9/32) last 5 games. There's just no flow to the game with both of them on the floor together

Based on what? What you think? I bet he makes it to the NBA. Everyone blames Coffey for having to play point? He actually is a decent shooter, his numbers from the previous two years suggest it. This is like Hoffarber having to play point. It's not natural but what are the options? That's on Pitino, not Coffey.

The offensive is stagnant a lot, some of that can be put on the players, some can be put on the coaching staff. He's pretty damn talented though and if you put him on one of the better teams in the nation, he'd fit right in fine.

This was a likely 5 star player before he tore his ACL the beginning of his junior year.

Part of the reason they get few open jump shots is because the guys they have running the point drive to the hole in arcs rather than through people. You can't find a wide open wing if you're only 8 feet away and you certainly won't see anyone on the other side of the court. Kalscher is wasted in this offense. They need to bite the bullet and put Washington into the starting line up.

Washington needs a longer leash. Simple as that.

I think this one is on Pitino and his offense. So many puzzling offensive sets. They had some match-ups I thought they would exploit but instead a lot of one on one plays that resulted in tough shots.
