Does it have anything to do with Gopherhole being down?

The bomb on Monday was that every special teamer was in quarantine. Every single one. Punters, kickers, long snappers, kickoff specialists. They cleared one punter and one kicker today. If that's not what was behind the line shift to Michigan, I'll eat my hat.

Last season was the greatest Gophers football season of our entire lifetimes. They had the most wins since 1904. That is 115 years!!! One game into a fucked up season and people are throwing themselves off a building for losing to Michigan? WTF?

People are frustrated because it's yet another missed opportunity. They had the chance to grab all of the football attention in Minnesota this fall. And they failed. It's not that they lost. They got physically dominated the entire night. You can't do that if you want to be thought of as a title contender.

Yeah, last season was great. I enjoyed the hell out of it. But it was also set up perfectly for the team to succeed. The schedule was a soft as any team in the Big Ten expect.

That said, I won't write off them rebounding in 2020. They started slow last year. There's a real good chance to get right against Maryland. If not, the team is in trouble and the questions about 2019 being a mirage are going to start to get asked frequently.

They were down to the 4th kicker and punter. Our D was poop but the kicking game lost the game for the gophers. The average starting position for Michigan was probably the 40 yard line!

Wisconsin/Nebraska called off due to the cheeseheads loading up on COVID. With the rules the Big 10 has in place, this pretty much wipes out the cheese season, depending how many players tested positive anyway.

Give the Gophers a do-over against Michigan when we’re back to full strength.

Why don’t WI/NE figure it out? They don’t have 30 players to suit up out of 80? Man up!

Normally I'd be happy as a pig in shit to see Iowa at 0-2. Right now I can't even take joy in their misery.

I'm with ya. What a strange season. I missed our game, am out of town - but what a gut punch of a disappointment. Frankly, I don't get it.

Even more mystifying - how in the samfuck does MSU (who lost to fucking Rutgers) beat Michigan??? How fn bad are we???

The fact that he's only 37 and he's been an OC at 3 stops and a head coach kind of raises some red flags, and that he took what Brohm built at WKU and got fired after only two years is another big question mark. How many places fire a coach after two seasons?
I'm already sick of this guy. Simon should have gotten the job.
