Lots of season left for sure. Gophers shouldn’t fall too far in the polls.

Win out, beat Ohio St and the playoffs are still in sight! Ha. Possible, but not very likely.

Hmmm. I heard something early this week about a MN guy wanting to grad transfer back home next year. Looks like this one might have some legs. Not too tough to figure out who.

You mean a guy from here wanting to come back here? Or a current Gopher wanting to go home?

JD Spielman according to GH.

Some skepticism in the GH thread. I’d personally drive to Lincoln to pick him up.

Damn, that would be a big get. Would he be a grad transfer? Or a sit out the year type?

Holy shit - I had no idea they had seats in the upper deck regularly priced at $150, and now some of them are going for $223-$338 vs. UW.

Wait....WHAT? Full confidence would be a 10. You said it's close to a done deal and only give it a 1.5 or 2?

Well I hope you are right. Like I said, I'd volunteer to drive to Lincoln to get him.

Those same "diehards" will likely be the same dudes praising him in a few weeks; if it even takes that long.

If you told me 10-2 at the start of the season, I would have signed up in a heartbeat. I never thought I’d be this disappointed with it instead...

I feel ya. I'm pretty crushed. It was all there for the taking. A chance to be legends. Go win the bowl game and we'll look back on this season fondly. Losing to the two biggest rivals really hurts though.

I'm not crushed, but I totally agree with you. It was all there for them and they threw it away. If it wasn't for the fact that 10-2 is a great season for the gophers it would be embarrassing to finish like that.

This appears to be great news! If PJ can consistently get us some national attention with seasons like this we're gonna get our share of talent comin to Dinkytown!

Dropped like a fucking rock in the CFP, down to 18. NYD bowl is far from a guarantee now. Maybe don't coach scared and they wouldn't be in this position.

Well, maybe they will get a lesser opponent and someone they can beat.

Someone here mentioned Auburn before on NYD. That wouldn't be a good matchup.

Lol. It would be fun to play against such a big time opponent but they will get absolutely murdered.
