Yep. Look for play in mid October. Very connected call tonight from Mike Hall.

BTN Network crew is being assembled.

Thanks.

I look forward to the season as the Vikings have not looked too hot.

Best part about this is, Gopher Hoops should be played and that is one of my favorites.

Not any easy schedule but nothing insurmountable either. I don't expect a repeat of last season but I also don't expect them to slide back to Glen Mason era Big Ten record results either.

Oct 24 - Michigan - 50/50, probably L
Oct 31 - @Maryland - W
Nov 7 - @Illinois - W
Nov 14 - Iowa - W
Nov 21 - Purdue -W
Nov 28 - @Wisc - L
Dec 5 - NW - W
Dec 12 - @Nebraska - W
Dec 19 - Champ/Crossover

A 6-2 record, isn't terrible. It really depends on Bateman and our young D coming together. Our O-line, run game and Morgan are all going to great this year.

Run game might not be great. Depends on how the Oline shakes out. As of last report, Dunlap was in no way close to being ready to play and Fa'alele was still coming back from injury.

Run game should be "elite" Mo Ibrahim was awesome against Auburn. Our line is super deep with Schmitz, Andries, Dunlap, Fa'alele, Schlueter etc.

Mo was the MVP of that game. He ran like a man possessed. If Bateman is allowed to come back, there's no reason not to be excited for the offensive potential.

Our offensive should be awesome, if Bateman is back it will be one of the tops in the nation: Great GB, underrated stud RB's, good WR's and massive O line.

Demitrious Douglas opted out. Fleck declined to comment when asked about the status of Fa'alele and Braelin Oliver (bad knee injury in spring). Real possibilty that Big Dan doesn't play this season. If Dunlap can't get into playing shape over the next two weeks and change, you're looking at a line starting a walk-on from Holy Family and very, very questionable depth at tackle.

Does Blaise Andries move over to tackle?

LT-Schluter
LG-Olson
C-Schmitz
RG-Ruschmeyer
RT-Andries

It's obviously not ideal, but that's still a pretty decent line. But instead of having 6 high-quality linemen, you've now got 4 and a big question mark.

Dunlap is THAT out of shape that in 2.5 weeks he'll still be too out of shape to play? Holy smokers.

6:30. Pretty decent chance GameDay comes back to town. Obviously not the same, but it's still good for publicity.

Gameday back to canpus. Huge spot on Saturday, lots of Top 25 teams tumbled today. It would do this program well to punk MeatChicken.
