Its unfortunate Lance only played 1 game this season, and he didn't play well in it. He had a lot to win or lose in that one game. I'm not a fan of his at the next level. Round 2, or a trade back into the late 1st and I'd be okay with it.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:40 pmI would be ecstatic to get either.Rusty Kuntz wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:38 pmLawrence, but the jets aren't winning, fields would be a nice pick at #2
Lance is a huge question mark but I would take him if given the chance the other two are gone.

Ish imo but not saying you are wrong.
I mean hell, Even Lawrence and Fields could end up being Wentz and Goff.
Wouldn't want either of the last two I named on their current deals.

Kyle Trask is up there, but I'd probably go Lance over him mainly because the difference in mobility between the two is so massive, and the league is starting to trend toward mobile QB's.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:45 pmBut you have to say he is your clear #3 though, right?bubu dubu. wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:43 pmIts unfortunate Lance only played 1 game this season, and he didn't play well in it. Hard to have an honest opinion of him when you haven't watched him. I'm not saying he's going to be a star in the NFL, but I've been really impressed with him this year and he's way more polished than Lance.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:49 pmI've seen some here and there. Did you see Fields today? He was throwing darts all over the field. He would look great in purple.

nah, its different. Since Tebow, who are the high profile QB's from Florida? tO$U has had what, like 4ish high profile QB prospects in just like the last decade alone...Urban Meyer guys. Definitely a parallel there with Urban Meyer though. Trask is far removed from that Urban Meyer regime though.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:50 pmThat's another school in Florida that never produces a good QB.bubu dubu. wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:49 pmKyle Trask is up there, but I'd probably go Lance over him mainly because the difference in mobility between the two is so massive, and the league is starting to trend toward mobile QB's.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:45 pm

I have seen some Wilson but it's so hard to tell. There are lots of college QBs who light it year after year and never amount to anything.
Why it's so hard to know who will be good.
Like I said, I wouldn't even be surprised if Lawrence flopped.

True. Really only Lawrence and Fields are guys I really want. Becomes muddled after that but I would go Lance next imo.bubu dubu. wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 9:55 pmnah, its different. Say one of these teams with a young highly drafted QB takes another one.
Are guys like Darnold for cheap a better option?
Really wish we would have picked up Rosen for nothing but Rick has no vision when it comes to the QB position.

Was doing poorly on my bets today. Did the cardinal sin of throwing more bad money around to make up for the losses when I tripled my LSU bet at -4.5. Thankfully it worked. Two more bets tonight...San Diego State -14, and BYU - 24.5. End up in the green on the day if either one of those hit.
Wanted to bet the Gophers, but I always get reserved when it comes to placing money on the home team.

I would say no. The Vikings need to find a true franchise quarterback if they are going to finally win a super bowl. Guys like Darnold and Rosen aren't getting you there.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:01 pm Say one of these teams with a young highly drafted QB takes another one.

Thats a fair question. I'd kick some tires to see if there's any untapped potential out there. These guys value drop so much that there isn't too much risk involved. Darnold specifically could be an ultimate buy low option. He's playing with no talent around him in NYJ.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:01 pm Say one of these teams with a young highly drafted QB takes another one.

Agreed but both were better prospects coming out than someone like Lance or Wilson. We have no clue who will be franchise guys.Hoop Dreams wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:05 pmI would say no. 3 guys lately that I knew wouldn't amount to a hill of beans was Gabbert, Ponder and Trubisky.

Well there's that.
I expect this team to look like world beaters until they play Wisconsin.
They better get the defense prepped or they may drop a game or two to someone they are supposed to beat.

I'd look at Jones if he became available. He had a nice rookie season, despite having little talent around him...and now this season he loses Saiquon too. I don't think the Giants will move on from him though, unless they have a chance at Fields or Trevor.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 10:08 pmAgreed. I don't have an opinion on him, but I'm watching the BYU game right now. Hard to judge talent when you are playing nobody. One of the reasons I have my reservations around Trey....that, and Trey can't throw unless his guys are wide open, which they usually are because NDSU runs 1000 times a game.
