I remember nasa’s last few posts on RC where he said he gal cheated on him and left him. I PM’ed him asking if he was ok and and basically said his life was over. We had our differences in the past but put them aside about a year before this. He didn’t sound like he was in a good place at all. We PM’ed a few times then he never came over here once RC shut down.

Real talk, when my Dad died the hospice/funeral home contact told me that as cremation is so much more mainstream they have places that just do cremation, or at least specialize in it. Not only were the folks incredibly kind, they were reasonable in their pricing and didn't mess around trying to push unnecessary services at me. I'm thankful for those people, and the burden they help people carry.
