Post by Sarge »

Time to snatch up all those Fiesta's and Focus's on FaceSpace Marketplace and sell 'em to Ford for $$

Ford dun goofed with letting those transmissions go into production. Even before the issue was widely reported, I heard a TON of horror stories from former Fiesta owners.

Yep.

Dual clutch junk. Get one with a manual gearbox.

I see KIA is putting dual clutch autos in the '20 Forte's. Stay away!

Good luck with that. Most people I know wouldn't know the first thing about driving a manual transmission.

I have an In Law that works for Polaris and shes let me drive the Slingshot around a few times. The original had a 5 speed with a 2.4 L engine from GM. The latest model had their in house 2.0 L engine with an "automated manual" transmission. The new engine was way better...more lively and responsive, but it was let down by a horrible, sluggish transmission.
